Postcard from Ashcombe (1) ...approaching the station from the west...

Our first postcard looks at the western approach to Ashcombe station. Prairie tank 4560 heads an early morning 'up' service and Collett Goods 2260 passes with a 'down' freight.

I love that over bridge it feels very; Lechlade, Fairford, Carterton. That right wing wall abutment area looks of the era too but maybe needs the Civil Engineer to cast his eye over it just to be sure🤔🤔😉

Well done Peter and Julia. Pleased to see a first edition of EM gauge Ashcombe, although I still go through all the past episodes of Lowleigh. I think I recognise Digitrains sound files in your locos as I`ve got them in my O Gauge stock.
