I probably didn't know 90% of the information in this video. I feel grateful that the video went into detail about exchange rates and how the entire process works.

I hadn't considered the significance of the foreign exchange market for international companies before. This video explained its importance in international business and trade, highlighting how even the smallest change in the USD can significantly impact the value of other currencies.

Before I watched this video, I only saw the importance of the foreign exchange to be used when traveling internationally. I did not think about how it is important to international companies. This video explained to me the importance of understanding the foreign exchange market in order to be involved with international business and trade and how the tiniest cent in USD will completely change the dollar amount in another foreign currency.

I have dabbled in the foreign exchange market myself, but never had enough time to study the charts and graphs. It is an extremely interesting topic and there is definitely money to be made. This two part video explains the market well and I will reference it often.

I really liked how this video highlighted the difference in insuring against foreign exchange risk and utilizing forward rates to benefit from foreign exchange rates. Both of these methods have their own time and place to be used to benefit a company or organization.

This video broke down Foreign Exchange Market easy to understand. I didn't know that there were so many features to the Foreign Exchange Market. I also learned that US dollar is a vehicle currency. I knew the basics to currency exchange but this added to that.

The foreign exchange market is so amazing to me because of how different countries financially interact with one another. I have traveled to many countries in the middle east and south America where the currency exchange never really made since how that worked up until watching this video.

Considering I am only familiar with USD, this video was very educational on both currency conversion and how that effects a companies revenues and expenses. The foreign exchange market is always changing, and this video opened my eyes to that a bit more.

Foreign exchange market is a great thing so that businesses can exchange goods to other countries. This video was interesting because it made me think of how sometimes it might be more smarter to move your business to a country that costs less in exchange to U.S. dollars. This happened in 2008 when a bunch of U.S. businesses moved to China because it would profit them more money that way.

This video really opened my eyes as to how each currency is so different but can also be pretty similar. The value of one currency compared to another can change for different reasons but some how they are all interchangeable in order to do business internationally. There has been an evolution of currency conversion that makes it very easy for tourist to be able to enjoy each country they visit without having to worry about their currency not being acceptable.

This is a really helpful and entertaining video. It will demonstrate how large corporations manage their foreign markets and handle foreign exchange by purchasing their nation's currency in order to pay for their goods and services in that currency. This video will demonstrate how one nation exchanges or purchases currency to pay for its goods. For instance, in order to purchase food and travel expenses, you must purchase Euros or the currency of the country you are visiting if you are traveling from the United States to another European country. similar to having to exchange yuan for dollars when traveling to China.

I liked how this video had two different parts, as it is a very in-depth topic. I also liked learning about how we can trade currencies with other countries, and how the American dollar holds up against other countries' forms of payment.

As a accounting major I like looking at money and seeing exchange rate so this subject is one of my favorites of the class. I also new that the U.S. dollar was used a lot in international trade but I didn't realize that it was 85% of trade uses it one way or another.

After reading a chapter in my textbook on Foreign Exchg Mkt including implications, drivers and attempts to predict movement, I was anxious to watch this video as I knew it would give a more clear explanation of what I had just read. I've gotten accustom to watching these Business School 101 videos for a breakdown of topics, expecially the ones I may be struggling to comprehend. Each video seems to be about 12-16 avg minutes & well worth the short investment of time!

I really enjoyed learning about the different types of exchange rates and how you can make and lose money so fast with constantly changing exchange rates. I also didn't know how important the US Dollar was to the rest of the world. I thought it was very interesting that most currency transactions involve the US Dollar.

The foreign exchange market is something that really interests me. The reason is because it lets me understand how exchange rates work in different countries. Spending my whole career in US systems doesn't allow for me to gain the experience I need in foreign markets. By gaining some knowledge on how they trade over there, it allows for me to crossover with less chance of complications in communication.

Before I watched this video, I knew about the concept of foreign exchange rates, but didn't realize how important it was to international business. I found the part about spot exchange and forward exchange very interesting, as it highlighted how exchange rates can affect the profitability of a company. As most businesses are becoming international, this was very informative. The example of the currency swap was interesting as well. Apple seemed to create money for itself and protect its profitability by trading currency.

Wow, I was not aware that there were so many monetary units. I am glad this video breaks down the foreign exchange market in simpler terms. I know the exchange rate always changes when converting U.S. dollars to Mexican pesos. My grandmother goes to Mexico every year and has taught me the basics of how it works. I enjoyed learning what it is like for other countries in this video.

I've always wondered how the exchange rate works from country to country. It's been a confusing topic for a while for me but this video helps better explain not only how it works but why it works. I also enjoy the useful tips for when traveling abroad and needing to match the currency for the country you are visiting.

I found this video to be quite engaging. I now have a deeper appreciation for the foreign currency market and the role it plays. I was aware that there were many currencies, but I had no idea there were so many. Since I've done some international traveling, I've had the chance to convert some of my U.S. dollars to the local currency. It was fascinating to observe how much variation there was in currency value.

This video is very useful and interesting. it will show you how big companies do foreign exchange and how they run the foreign market by buying their country's currency to pay in their currency for their goods and services. This video will show how one country swaps its currency or buy the currency for to pay the country's goods. For example, if you travel to a different country in Europe from the USA then you have to buy Euros or their country's currency to buy food and travel. Like if you go to China to have to swap yuan for dollar.

This is very informative video about how foreign currency exchange rates works when doing business in foreign countries. Also all the the strategies domestic firms use to protect themselves against foreign exchange risk like in the Apple laptop example where because gave their bank 1 million U.S Dollars in exchange for 110 million yen the were able to gain 1.09 million dollars off a 90 day forward exchange rate of $1= 120 yen.

I found this video rather informative in explaining a general idea of how different currencies interact with each other. While I was somewhat familiar in knowing that some currencies are stronger than others, I didn’t know that the foreign exchange market was also used a kind of insurance against risks! I’ll have to do more research on hedging, it sounds rather interesting.

I found this video interesting because I frequently travel to Mexico and my family likes to pay attention to what is going on with the peso. During COVID the dollar was worth anywhere from 20 to 25 pesos, so we were able to get items for cheaper than we usually did. The last time we went $1 was worth 17 pesos, so not as high as we got used to it being. It's interesting how it fluctuates and how the dollar is always worth the most.
