An EPL club may spend 150 million on transfers but a club like Madrid or City or Barcelona or Bayern or Juve bsck in their hayday would spend 130 on a single player. And not sign anyone because they've already built their team. Money talks plain and simple. I think the new conference league would show the difference. By quite a large margin because that's a bunch of mid table sides. A standard mid table side in the premier league spends as much money as any other top premier league club lol.
