I hope in the new movie Tai Lung is told the equivalent of "Just because you aren't destined to be the Dragon Warrior, doesn't mean you aren't destined to be a hero." and he gets a little redemption arc
Instead he'll be a glorified cameo. Seriously, he should've been Po's apprentice, instead of the annoying strong, independent, modern girl "better than the male protagonist" E.S.G. pleasing cliche Awkwafina character.

@@LD-hs9iv I think it's unlikely considering what other modern sequels have done and how many times we tried to convince ourselves that things would be different, but I guess there's always hope.

@@R.P.McMurphy Po is just the Dragon Warrior, & imo Tai Lung is a more skilled Kung Fu master. If anything Tai Lung should be go back to his roots & be Shifu’s apprentice instead. He has already achieved the greatness Shifu envisioned within him since he was a child & now he can work with his master on improving himself both in mind & spirit together as father & son. And yeah, the way things go with female characters, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was just used as a cameo tbh!!
Those slight seconds where Tai Lung almost breaks. His face and his eyes... you can tell he did really loved Shifu as his father but was too far gone and power hungry.
Revenge hungry. Over the twenty years, the scroll went from "The most powerful item in the world that was denied to me" to "I will take it to show up Oogway and Shifu and anybody who doubted me for 'being evil'"

And you know what’s crazy about that? He’s not even in the movie that much! If I had to guess, he probably has less than fifteen minutes of screen time. That’s great writing.
That was the child that was screaming at him earlier. The child that loved him, that almost made him broke his focus. His rage and focus on the dragon scroll came back and pushed the child in him back. All he ever wanted was for Sifu to be proud of him

You could tell Tai Lung was very hurt trying to tell Shifu that what he's done for Shifu was to make him feel proud for him but Shifu didnt even explain to Tai Lung just to soften the blow that Oogway caused by not telling Tai Lung that he wasnt meant to be the Dragon Warrior, he could've told that he was destined for something greater, but Shifu didnt do it
I think It's because he couldn't deny his master's pupil.
At the time, nothing would be better than being the dragon warrior
I love how it looks an Next Gen Console Game, like the graphics and the textures and the framerate

To put your all into something, do it better than anyone else & still get a “NO” is a hard blow. And for Shifu, his father, not come out & defend him at that time was an even more devastating blow to his heart!!

I can't deny this looks incredible, but if I had to choose between this and the movie as it is, I think the movie looks way better. The 60fps (just like with 30fps) and the extreme sharpness makes everything look super fake, despite how beautiful and exiting it can be at times.

Man when he was locked up I realized something....that man had not taken a single decent breath for 2 decades....not until he broke free of his rest restraints. Tai Lung's dark grey fur and the color of his eyes make him look more like a demon leopard rather than a snow leopard, but I guess that's suppose to represent his evil nature or whatever.

That’s the point. Throughout their fight shifu takes no responsibility for what he did hurt tai lung. Like when he says” you were not meant to be the dragon warrior, that’s is not my fault” or “ It was never my decision to make” but at the end he finally admits how guilty he feels for what he did to tai lung after he says” All I ever did, I did to make you proud, tell me how proud you are shifu”

@@Palmer_Style The original kung fu panda movie, did you rip it straight from the Blu-ray or did you download a lower quality version online? The bluray (aka remux) version is the highest quality version of kung fu panda, so that means if you used that version to upscale it using topaz you would get more detail and quality
