Thank you a lot. This really helped me, i couldn't get the egr off, but opened the intake and cleaned from the top. Car is working again and will work, till i have the time to swap the valve.
Your welcome, as they say in Tesco "every little helps" :-)
Bro thank you so much, i've been searching for a video that shows in details. Much love🖤
I recommend to take off that plastic cover on top of valve ( right on the corner ) then clean and grease sliding parts ;)
Thank you! This is video is perfect! 💯
Your welcome :-)
Could you modify the title/tagline to include Saab 2.2Tid if possible? They're identical, but there's hardly anything on the Saab.
Thanks, I didn't know about that. I put Saab to the title. Maybe will help to other people. Thank you pal.
Same engine as my 2005 SAAB 9-5 linear 2.2l TID diesel
poz ,dali se moze blokirati egr u opel vectre c.
what tool should i use to remove these screws?
It's a female Torx (star) drive. I don't know the size.
Just tried for ages. Almost like it’s been welded on
Thank u. But that is only half of job. You better clean axle as well.
(So I don't know, maybe check the electrical connectors, fuses and what errors are reported by the self-diagnostics, etc. I'm sorry to hear that your car stopped starting.)
what was washed? can you be more specific?
It was a special fluid for washing egr valves. Something like this one: www.mroauto.cz/cs/katalog/detail-zbozi/prostredek-pro-rychle-cisteni/amtra/20-a22/1300580?gclid=Cj0KCQjw5ZSWBhCVARIsALERCvxZVsa7DrzurH_ijRBZiIcaHtQZ1hFR72yBUNb0_G3jzX03wJmfYEsaArmmEALw_wcB
Do i have to clean inside hole aswell or leave as it is?
It is depend how does it look inside, if is dirty, use clean cloth and make the hole clean, maybe use some chemical, it is prevention. Good luck :-)
@@VladDublin Ok, thanks!
I hate those clips I’m having to replace them with jubilee clips to make life easier
I undid the bolts but it won’t come off any ideas?
Try to use screwdriver and hammer, just be careful.
@@VladDublin I did it. The best way was not to use a screwdriver to tap it. Very easily broken. Just spray some lube and keep rotating left right whilst pulling gently. Tapping on it will break it.
Mine stuck aswell. Did you end up getting it out ? Iv got mine working again using a egr spray down the air intake but would still like to remove for a deep clean. Thanks in advance
@@yabadabado7414 Yes I did. Do not pry it apart and ruin it all like I did. Just put your hands round the whole thing with gloves on whilst wiggling it back and forth like a good un. It will eventually work itself free
@@yabadabado7414 Lots of wd40 too whilst doing it.
