I am one of many fans who grew up watching Jim Kelly and just loving the Bills of the '90s. Those 22 years of quarterback limbo were tough to watch at times, while at other times it seemed like "maybe we found our guy?" Now, I believe it is safe to say that Joshua Patrick Allen truly IS OUR GUY! I love that clip they showed of him getting fired up on the sideline saying "it's a home game, baby!" JA encompasses everything that is Buffalo! Side note, imagine Kelly in Green Bay rather than Favre! Anyway, GO BILLS!
I’m not a huge Bills fan, but I am a Jim Kelly fan, and I respect and commend Josh Allen for the way he has grabbed the reins and become a new leader for the Bills

I started watching the NFL during Buffalo's Super Bowl run so I pretty much heard about Buffalo ad nauseum in the first few years. I'm happy for the success of the team for the city and it's fans. Maybe one of these years we can finally get that Buffalo-San Francisco Super Bowl :D
I met Jim kelly twice in Daytona beach on 2 separate occasions . I think the first time was 1992 and then 1993. I told him I was from Buffalo and a big fan. He was rude and had nothing to say back to me. I'll never forget his lack of enthusiasm upon meeting a Bill's fan I hope Josh Allen will be able to be kind to fans.

A. Stone Thorn I think he will. A few factors to think about. Daboll runs the Earnhardt / Perkins style of offense, which is all about the short to intermediate passing game, essentially Allen’s weakness coming out of Wyoming. (ironically his deep ball was scouted as one of his best assets coming out of college) So for the past 2 years he’s been working with Jordan Palmer & the bills on devoting that part of his game. Now factor in that we had the leagues smallest WR core and led the NFL with a 7% drop rate. (Knox alone was at 20%!) Now that we have seen the improvement in josh’s short to intermediate game, and the addition of Diggs, and our two rookie WR’s... I really think you will see a major improvement over the next 2 years.
You gotta remember that he was from Pittsburgh... He played in Miami and Houston. Why would he want to play in Buffalo, or Green Bay, or Minnesota? But he went to Buffalo and found so much love from the fans. He still lives here because he loves his home.
