The spa is included in the stay on the seventh floor so for just a day pass to the spa you can probably access it if you buy one on resortpass.com. We used that website once before and it has a lot of options including La Cantera Resort. The breakfast was also included with our Fine Hotels and Resort perks with our American Express platinum card but to buy it outright the buffet costs $26 for adults and $16 for kids. It was great!
All of the floor 7 rooms have the same size balcony but you can certainly ask for a room with views over different sides of the hotel. We got switched one year when we had a view of the rooftop. They have always been very accommodating to our requests.
I wanted to know, when you said "ACCESS TO THE SPA", did you have to pay for the spa session after paying for the SEVEN package? Asides the payment for the seven did you have to pay any other thing?
Spa access is included without any extra charges with the SEVEN floor package. This gets you access to the infinity pool, the beautiful relaxation room, and the huge grounds. The massages and treatments we got are an extra charge and had to be booked ahead of time. The Solarium is worth every penny because it has the hot tubs and saunas.
Yes we used the adult pool area and the spa pool. Both are not for children but towards the end of the video I showed the lazy river, slides, and family pools. The resort is very kid friendly.
I’ve stayed there before and it’s a very beautiful hotel although they’ve changed it now that I see your video I didn’t know they had that seventh floor though is that Lounge on that floor; is that food for free like for breakfast? It comes with a room or do you have to pay separately? Just wondering
Hi! You will need the American Express Platinum card to use their fine hotel and resorts program. You can go on the AMEX card hotel booking service and see all the hotels listed to stay at. They removed the La Cantera Resort from that program but you can still stay there and get the points or use your points to book it. For us to stay free we booked it using our points we collected. By getting the card during a promotion you can earn up to 110,000 points if you spend $3k in the first few months. It has some great perks!

How did you get the upgrade to the full balcony ? Should I call and ask for the upgrade ahead of time ?

They added the lounge on the 7th floor in around 2018 I believe. It’s all included with the room except for alcohol. It’s such a great place!
