It sounded great for the first few months john,, then one day I was like, what the hells going on, there was very little projection. I wasn't sure if it was just me or did the sound really take a hit. I ended up selling it on. I was unhappy. I think the humidity got to it, I should have stored it in its case, I never did, Ireland is damp, I should have know, at least that's what I think happened. Anyway I traded it in for a F22 lowden..yeah I paid $2600 then customes hit me for almost another 850 😣
Ouch. Oh that's such a shame I've never heard of that happening but I suppose the theory of damp might have affected it. Oh well onwards and upwards how is the Lowden?
@@jcalver80 Hey. I'm a recording studio owner/producer so I know 10 000$ mics are out of the question. A sm57 is sometimes great on a snare, or a guitar amp. Sometimes even vox, but we never prefer it on acoustic guitar. An affordable option is a Vanguard V4 condenser mic for example(400$ish). If you tried it, you'd be in awe of the difference. Keep on plucking. I have a Gibson J200 that's worth over 13k$ now, I love these jumbos.

I would have probably had the chord up before you actually played it on the guitar, it’d help people to see which chord is coming next so they can get ready for it. Otherwise people will be rushing to get to the chord and it’ll mess them up.

I imported a Gibson j185 from USA to Ireland.. mint ..just like yours but smaller, sorry I didn't buy the j200.

But honestly with strumming it's about getting the feel right.
