  • In this video I’m going to show you how to introduce yourself to people and also two ways that you can introduce other people as well.
This video is also my first use of green screen. I was fed up of the pale insipid cream wall behind me in all of my videos. The green screen is mostly successful except that at one point it looks like half of my computer is missing and occasionally one of my arms disappears. Other than that it’s totally successful. 😂

These videos are really helpful. As an American, I got a good laugh out of you describing "do a wee" to remember how to pronounce "dw i." Learning on Duolingo but they don't explain a lot of this stuff so I really appreciate your videos!

Thank you for keeping our culture alive through language. I look forward to actually living in wales and learning the language in person, surrounded by it. .

I have been duolingo for a bit as I got raised by a welsh woman and picked up words/phrases but never actually got to learn the language as my country doesn't offer the option.
These vids actually give me a more proper way of addressing someone besides "book language". I'll be hovering around as I try and learn Welsh as I should

      Similar story "heuuure." (Here)
My Gran was Welsh and taught me a few words.
I'm on Duolingo now trying to pick it up again.... Not that I learned much as a toddler.
I think she'd be proud of me.
I'm sure your "gwraig hyfryd" would be proud of you too. 🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏆

I've noticed how translating individual Welsh words into English makes it look like Yoda from Star Wars is speaking. "Jason I am"

Gaethon ni tywydd "weird" yma hefyd. Diddorol, siaradais i " Beth yw'ch enw chi" i bloke yn y dafarn mis diwetha. Oedd e ddim yn deall, ond oedd e deall "Pwy wyt ti?" . Doniol. Gobeithio bod dych chi'n iach ! Coo-coo-ca-choo i chi !🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤😀

@Learn Welsh When introducing others can you use, hon, honno, hwn, hwnnw, hyn, hynny, y rhain ?
Why wouldn't dyma come after their name and can you use yma ?
As there has numerous translation for there, if you are saying, there is Jack, do have use a certain one ?
