@@lordescanor8232 I honestly don't know, I don't boast or brag about it or my abilities- when I get to know people and they ask me what I did before and I tell them they act so surprised about it. A lot of people then say "Oh so you'll know how to handle yourself" or "So you can kill people" etc like it's romanticised to some degree.

Last Friday I was stoic as hell and stood up for myself when my supervisor had helped a very lazy girl on the team get a massive raise a whole 5 dollars more then I make like a month ago. So I'm the hardest working guy on the team and I am respected by everyone in the company for it. So I wanted a raise and asked her to put in a word for me after about 2 weeks of her dragging her ass I went and got my raise myself. But what made me "blow up" which I was actually very cool calm and collected, she found it funny when I asked why the other girl got such a huge raise and giggled pretending she didn't hear me. I said it 3 times very clearly and louder each time. But I end up calling her out in front of everyone for disrespecting me and laughing in my face. Before I left at the end of the day she came up to me crying and begging me to stay on the team. Let's just say I got two raises in that one week.
Stick up for yourself fellas. Call out bullshit when you see it. It's what a man should do.
@Pixxel Yeah, honestly bro I'm just hoping the younger dudes I work with learn something from seeing this shit go down. I got even more respect from everyone plus from myself for sticking up for myself. Alot of these guys will complain about stuff but never take a stand for themselves and it's making guys continue being pussies. Say your a 17-18 year old dude and have never worked with the big boys and they are pushing you around, don't kneel down and take it, stand up proud and strong and tell them to go suck it. Even if you get your ass kicked you show you are a man. Because a man does not bow down when faced with challenges.

Very wise! I used to be nearly 300 pounds and on blood pressure and cholesterol meds. That was a few years ago. I’m now at 215 with a combination of weights and boxing on alternate evenings after work. The boxing has given me the feeling that I could handle myself in a real fight if needed. The weights have given me a layer of muscle where there was once fat. The way that I am treated by women now as opposed to a few years ago is shockingly different!

I think it’s called meekness. To be meek means to have incredible power that can cause destruction, but you are able to control it. I always loved the archetype of Dragon Riders in fantasy novels. Especially the hero. Because it symbolizes a man who is controlling a beast that is literally an atomic bomb with scales. And a dragon we can simply say, in a metaphysical sense, is the lizard brain within us. The animal side that controls all our lust, rage, envy, cunningness, etc. basically the Shadow of our unconscious. And to be a heroic dragon rider, to pair with a beast of magnificent chaos and terror, is to be able to control your own Shadow by integrating it. Like Carl Jung said. Then that is meekness. It’s those who have a sword and know how to use it, but they keep it sheathed.

On one hand, yes, men should defend what they want and not give up, and yes, morality is being able to use power responsibly rather than shunning power entirely. However, the words this video uses to describe a strong man are wrong. ‘Wild’ and ‘dangerous’ ‘monsters’ are the mad men, not the strong men. A strong man will pursue the diplomatic and peaceful option 99% of the time, because he knows he can win without subjugating anyone through violence, and all of this ‘might makes right’ bullshit that ‘macho’ culture preaches is exactly what gives masculinity a bad name. We are above that.
Also Jordan Peterson is flawed. We are not the same as our ancient ancestors, and by embracing degenerate instincts as they did, you’re damning yourself to simply being as barbaric and savage as they were, and it’s only by casting those instincts aside and listening to and developing reason and higher thinking can humanity evolve into something greater than it already is.
