Happily paid for the Guitar Pro Tabs. I've loved this song for 10+ years and what you've done with it is such a treat. I look forward to pushing it through some speakers. THANK YOU!
"She likes the free, fresh, wind in her....", You never disappoint. I'll be singing this one in my head untill I have the time to learn this one, this weekend. The backing track will make me feel like I have Nelson Riddle backing me up. Very cool! Great choice!
YOU, my friend, are my most diligent jazz bee 🐝! Thanks for time stamping my old videos ❤️❤️❤️. It would be an honor to reward you with the lesson packs, but I need your mail to send them too. Please email me to shermanlessons@gmail.com!
You know...? For years I was thinking to learn this one for myself and now that I did it, in a very simply chord version, (yesterday), I find your channel... And you have done it only three weeks before...! Simply beautiful...! Obviously your style is in The line of the Jazz classics... Thank you so much... I'll be greatful with you...
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman Thanx a lot Sandra, I'll check them carefully for sure & find the ones that are nearer to me... & we'll be in contact for sure... Thanx again...!
Beautiful arrangement of a great Sinatra tune! (Love Bennet and Gaga’s diet too!) The walking bass line is a nice touch👍😄. As always, you make it fun and informative. Oh, and for English, “filler” works fine for that meaning😉. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hmm, maybe I should try this Bennet and Gaga diet to lose the last 10 pounds 😁. But then again, if we continue to have lunch together, even that won't work. Couldn't help it, sorry 😘. My autocorrect drives me crazy too!
For 'fill up' I know that some musicians say 'fiil it out with'.. . I hope this helps. What a lovely arrangement of Darn that dream you have done too. Wonderful. Keep up the great work.
Miss Sandra, what should i do in my practice? I feel my guitar playing isn't develope... 😔 I love neo soul style, but i dont know what should i learn first? 😔 I wish, hope, u may give me some advice... Keep healthy, success & happy for u... Aamiinn... 😇🙏🏻
What is a house call? I do a few Skype Lessons. But I'm limited to Thursdays right after the video release and sometimes Frudays. Never weekends, though.
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman Okay, thank you. In the near term, I have only weekends. But that will change at some point. I can manage with your TH-cam lessons. What I noticed is our hand size is similar yet you seem to reach frets more easily and comfortably than I do. I suppose. I just need to do fretboard stretching exercises. Thanks again
Love this arrangement and just purchased it. 👍😊❤🎶🎸 my brain is hearing bass walk-ups leading up to the 2nd and last verse. 🤔 Once I get this under my fingers, I'll try to figure out how to add the bass walk-ups. ☺
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman right now, it's a simple 3 note walkup at the end of the verse. ☺🎶 Instead of the G# diminished chord, I'm doing 5th fret 4th string, then 7th fret same string ending on 5th fret 3rd string. Then to start the 2nd verse, I'm trying a full chord 1 fret slide up to the C6/9 to see how it works. 🤔✌🎸🎶
Chapeau!!! Formidable versión de mi tema favorito de Frank Sinatra (aunque él no sea el compositor, es conocida por su versión). Muchísimas gracias Sandra !!.
My favorite ballad ever. I've tried to make an arrangement, but I found it was too difficult. I've yet to make an easier arrangement, that is playable by most intermediate students.
Hi Sandra. Greetings from Ireland! As always, a fantastic lesson from you with plenty to digest and practice. You may or may not be aware of it, but clicking on the link to your TH-cam channel is not working, and it also takes you off this page and shuts TH-cam down. xx :-(
@@GuitarversumSandraSherman Wow! He was so cool in that movie. I especially liked the conversation with the little old lady at the railway station. ''What have you got in mind?''
Here is what (or where) I "fill in"; this is an action, and I believe an intransitive verb. It is a "filler"; here you are giving it a "name", so it as a noun. I am not an english teacher, but this is what I recall. Funny, but when one goes to the dentist to "fill in" a tooth cavity, it is called a"filling", not a "filler".

I think the slow version sounded about the same tempo as in the Sinatra version from the movie Pal Joey.
Yes, that was my reference.
