The Isle is intended to be a gritty, open-world survival horror game. Explore vast landscapes of dense forest and open plains, traverse treacherous mountains and wade through dark swamps where horrors lurk. Hidden within are ruins that hold insight as to what came before. Through it all, keep in mind there is only one goal: survive.

yo owl, as a sub giga. and also as an adult, remember ur turn is one of the greatest in the game. its even better than spino turn but this is only when running. remember against almost everything z-walk and normal walking is ur greatest turn but against other subs and against spino or rexes, running turn is stronger than everything else so if both you and the opponent are hard holding shift you can out turn them while running. next sub rex fight in another video or off camera try using running turn

Seeing how you use the bleed apex giga to its full effect; I think that there's a certain nighttime dwelling Isle dinosaur you could play that would be VERY entertaining to see, with how you make your videos and all that.
Absolutely agreed. Abusing night time on a Dilo is hilarious. Can easily kill full grown Apexes alone if you're good.

Giga is my favorite apex from legacy, it's trot speed and stam regen for its size is amazing. It's my go to apex killer with its bleeding capabilities. Dilo has become very difficult to enjoy though since devs left legacy due to everyone using those winter map files and gamma users. Basically everyone playing legacy has 1 or the other.
Being an Evrima player it is always interesting to watch people play Legacy, not having the dinosaurs I'd prefer to play being able to be played by someone else (and with such great commentary) is fun to watch
Since you're an evrima player, whats your opinion on evrima not having a new playable in an update for over a year

-I cant run evrima
-What I've seen for evrima looks like the game has hardly ever changed since U3 (when I stopped playing [game became unplayable passed U3])
-Diets and skins hardly meant anything
-There hasn't been a new playable for over a year and the mechanics that have come out (diets, skins, and nightvision) don't make up for the lack of playables at all
-The playables that will be coming will hardly be anything to the current meta, not a single person I know will play troodon over dilo or beipi over literally any other semi aquatic
-Balance is skewed as hell with certain creatures absolutely dominating without contest (stego and deino) and other creatures being so bad no one plays as them at all (dryo)
I may simply lack understanding but this is evrima in its current state to my knowledge
Oh also I dont play the isle much becuase pedophile paradym + pedophile helper sticky + all the other scandals and whack shit the isle's been through, it surprises me the game is still running

I absolutely love seeing Giga play.
I used to be a giga-main in legacy, where I'd hunt down rexes and spinos but for whatever reason would lose to other gigas... besides a few times where I think karma was just on my side.
Giga was always so fun and exciting, because you still had to play smart or lose. You can never be cocky otherwise pay the price. Treat your prey with respect.

@@cargoraygaming9274 Well, considering how many times mid to low tiers can kill gigas I wouldn't personally think that.
Spinos can bleed or out-turn a person who isn't experienced, Rex can out-power and a fellow giga is capable of anything you can do.
Allos, cerato, dilo, and Utah are the biggest threats I'd consider. As I've played and hunted apexes with them so I understand what they're capable of doing.
You should always respect prey and what they're capable of.

Is the giga stronger in this game? never played before
@@McDamaged It's a mixed.
It's not as strong as Rex, but has a slightly better turning and way better bleed.
While Spino has more health; it doesn't do as much damage to giga but can bite more quicker; plus has good bleed as well.
The key for a Giga to be successful, especially against rex is ambushing tactics, bleeding them out (as Gina's are also faster with their walk/run & stamina) and if you get caught in a bone break try to let them bleed out before they kill you.

So glad you took down that sub giga. Suchos are meant to be relatively safe in the water (at least they were the last time I played on a Noobz server), so seeing a rulebreaker get karma soon after killing was glorious. Especially by someone who plays very much by the rules. Perfection.

Always something lovely about his videos...they are more than game play. It's like you are being brought out on a journey through the Jurassic world with a narrator explaining to you every detail, of Flora and Fauna along the way. Truly some of, if not my favorite Isle videos around... Owlie is also one of my favorite Toobers, Bar non!!!!!

Mad skill at sub level too. Sub gigas can be really difficult to keep alive let alone face off against other subs before you get to 95%. They're slow, bulky and have a mediocre bite force so kudos for that rex fight - very impressive.
As a side note, so glad to see that members and supporters list growing. You deserve it mate!

Heres something that i think could help your sub giga game: When turning while running its quicker then say using z turn, while the adult it is quicker using normal trot to turn instead of z turn. Sub gigas are really good at juking if they use their turning ability to its best.

Your channel is great, I've been in a rut looking for a survival game that I can not be forced to play 10 hour days to keep up, ARK, Rust and DayZ I was big into on console but now I don't have that time and they just sit unplayed in my steam library. The Dino games you cover seem right up my alley. As always these videos do a great job showcasing the game for a solo enjoyer.

Ngl while Giga doesn't have the bananas damage and insane ambush like rex, it's definitely more versatile.
Amazing trot, good stamina/endurance, amazing bleed, and still has enough damage to obliterate non-apexs and can still kill Rex or Trike if used correctly.

I hate how accurate this is, as well as the fact that there are quite a few players out there that act like this. Ran into one myself a bit back, they were slaughtering every player that left the safezone, specifically new players that hadn't had the chance to grow strong yet (Different game). So I killed them then killed them again and they started raging, calling me a bully, etc.

allo with a lead is out of the question even for gigas.
a full grown allo can run almost the entire length of the map in one go without rest.
and it doesnt take long to recover stamina again.

I loved the battle with the sub rex and it was super smart to trade bites with your ambush active so you can bleed him and get away quick

Just a tip OwlTime, when playing giga never use the slow walk it turns slower than the trot but this only applies for giga all the other dinos slow walk turns faster but when Ur playing giga and in a turn fight make sure ur trotting cuz you turn quicker but W vid
