Thanks for sharing! Like to see your setup as well! Millwood is my home lake but don’t get to fish it much with work and family obligations! Sure brings back some awesome memories seeing some of those areas!
i fished a Cast tournament there around 2007 and they weighed in four over 3 pounds. The local guys had the heaviest bags. I've been back a few times but never found many over 2 but I KNOW they live there because I've seen them on a certified scale. I'm not done trying either!!. Wife and I spent three days early last March when I first got the LS and didn't do worth a dang. You could catch fish, (Dinks) in the reeds on the NE end of the lake but I don't like fishing that way anymore. Enjoyed the vid, Thanks, DS
I'm definitely going to have to make a trip up there. I got my limit on Erling the other day. Was good to see ya. Maybe we can get together and do a fishing trip.
I picked them up at Sportsman’s One Stop in El Dorado Arkansas. If you aren’t in the area, You can google “fas snaps”. They can be purchased through various suppliers on line. I have been using the medium size snaps
You might be able to google gamakatsu jig boxes and find a good source to order from. I don’t sell any jigs (just don’t have the time and patience it takes😜) But i have a friend that makes some awesome jigs that are proven crappie killers! Check out Welch Jig Co. He sells his jigs on line all over the country!
Hey Matthew, Thanks for checking out my video! Those are Gamakatsu boxes. They have the slit foam to hold all your jigs snug. I like the 13 ft ACC rods. I have a couple different styles - a regular grip handle 13 foot, and I sometimes use the rear seat handle 13 foot (the reel sits further back on the handle and gives me a little extra reach.
@@jamiedumasoutdoors yeah man I’ve really enjoyed watching them! I like how you target single fish. I’ve never tried that. I’ve only focused on schools on brush tops. I’ll definitely give it a try the next time I’m out!
@@UnderwoodOutdoors It’s kind of like hunting! My goal is to drop on as many fish in a day as possible. If they don’t bite fairly quick, I move on and go to the next one.
@@jamiedumasoutdoors yeah that’s why I think I’ll like it. What do you tend to look for when you’re trying to find them? I’m pretty green when it comes to crappie fishing.
@@UnderwoodOutdoors look for “bumps” or “knots” on structure, bright “dots” suspended in open water, etc. I don’t typically do well on the moving targets, and the swimming fish always seem to be on a mission. Really great quality video!! Good mention of the details of your setup and the conditions! Keep them coming!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks Art! Glad you enjoyed!

May I ask were you purchased the small hooks? I have been looking all over N.C. and can't find any that small.
What boxes are those you have your jigs in? And what length rod do you like to use?
