  • It may seem repetitive, well yes it is! But to make that oilfield money you gotta stay on that grind! Come with me and watch how I get loaded, get to location, put on my PPE, unload, take off my PPE, get loaded again, put on my PPE, unload, take off my PPE .......etcetera. Please help me grow my channel and I will share much valuable and interesting content. Please go back and watch the previous video titled "I'm Back in the Oilfields!" ........also, watch for notifications of more videos to come and I PROMISE you will see some things that will knock your socks off!

    I'm glad you're back. You are one of the first TH-camrs I found with frac sand hauling content. Thanks for being one of the positive trucking channels. So much trucker trash on TH-cam further tarnishing the industry. I'm in my 23rd rookie year of driving big trucks. Never stop learning and stay safe.

    Easy work once you got know your equipment. It's the heat that's tough and even tougher at least for me was leaving my family back home in California. About to go do it again soon. Takes alot to live this life style that lots of people have no idea about. Great videos

      Thank you for the compliment and thank you for watching. Yes, I agree on everything u said. Luckily, I happen to love the lifestyle. As far as easy, I somewhat agree, I feel it's easy to become good at it. Get on out here, things are already jumping off!!

      @@femaleprofessionaldriver7650 yes, if we love what we do we can easily become good at it. So true. I've been hearing the same from my dad and brother, that its getting good. They're out in south texas, san Antonio area right now. I'm thinking I might b put there beginning Feb. Its bitter sweet for me. I LOVE trucking, being on the road but it's hard at the same time. It's an adventure for sure though. Them showers out next to mesquite trees or on the catwalk with a fuel can, water hose and a garden nozzle.....man hahaha

    I take it that the particles in the air near by are toxic .... aka the reason for the breathing apparatus ..... Im wondering how far in distance and approx how long it takes to go from your load and unload locations

    • @femaleprofessionaldriver7650
      @femaleprofessionaldriver7650  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right, the respirator is because when ur blowing off sand out of a pneumatic trailer, it spews silica dust in the air. and silica dust is just tiny tiny shards of glass so if u breathe that in it can cut ur lungs and create scar tissue and then you’ll have “silicosis” and can’t breathe good like having emphysema. It is imperative to wear it, if anyone gets caught without their mask on (first of all they’re a dumbass, but also they get in trouble). No facial hair for men allowed also because of the respirator. And not everyone on the frac crew wears a respirator, just the frac sand haulers that are in close proximity to the stuff.

    • @femaleprofessionaldriver7650
      @femaleprofessionaldriver7650  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The distance…..it’s all pretty close by, they put a lot of sand mines around the Kermit/Monahans area so it’s usually around 30-90 miles for a load. If the well is pretty far out it could be 100-120 miles. On a FEW occasions we drove way out to van horn or Brady Tx, those loads were around 240 miles. Drivers can usually do 3 loads a day if they’re favored by dispatch (there, I said it!) if they hustle and if the well is running good. This is all for the Permian Basin that I’m speaking of in Weat Texas. I don’t know how it is in North Dakota or Pennsylvania. Thank you so much for watching my videos!!

    Can I do this work part time as a retiree? Assuming I own my own truck, work about 20 hrs per week on the weekdays; can I still generate a profit in this industry? This work would be ideal for me if I can work at any time throughout the day and on my own schedule

    I've been driving trucks for 2yrs now and I love it! 1 yr otr 1 yr local. I really want to get into the oilfield, any advice on how to go about it. And other than my driving experience should I also first get some experience with my tanker and hazmat endorsements?

    • @femaleprofessionaldriver7650
      @femaleprofessionaldriver7650  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! U don't even need a tanker endorsement for dry bulk (sand). So ur already good there. With ur experience ur good to go! Google frac sand jobs or go to Craigslist in an oil patch area. Dallas Ft. Worth Craigslist also has a lot of ads. Stay away from the mega carriers that have a tanker division (low pay). Sandbox rates are a little lower than pneumatic, so the good money is in pneumatic but it's harder work.

However I do believe the woman that came forward , they had no reason to lie and put themselves out there like that. I dislike people that take advantage of others.

      He is quite unpopular and what alot of veteran truckers point out is that he is practically a ROOKIE charging money for trucking advice, and giving wrong, sometimes dangerous advice at that! That is my pet peeve.....people giving wrong info acting like they know everything.
