Nice job! I love the way you have hidden the wire in the battery compartment. 2 thumbs up.
Man the more i watch you're vids the more i want to get a box mod!!! Great work!
that box is georgous you definetly need to mass produce that box right there bro...like now! u know it would sell like crazy
There is something you can do for future mods that will allow you to use any switch and keep the high current away. An N-Channel Rectifier ( I use the one by international for my mods) with a 2.2k or 15k ohm resistor between the "Gate" and "Source". It does add some more wiring to the mix but it definitely helps with a lot of things. I haven't quite tried your methods to make a wood mod, but I may now. That thing is sexy! If I can find a way to fit a rectifier along with the 510 and switch, I definitely will. Very talented though; keep up the good work
Those switches are usually rated at 3amp @ 120/240v,if you use the same ones I do, so they are just fine with most builds @ 3.7/4.2v. I tell people as long as their build are safe for their batteries they are safe for their box. Awesome box build btw
keep up the sick work dude. you some of the nicest looking wooden box mods i ever seen! you should try koa wood next
dope! im liking the box mod more n more...
That bike is now the official "swagmaster 3000 cloudchasermobile"
You have a gift...great skill..looks sick..
Love your designs on your box mods and I thought I suggest to you for another one is to possible make one that you can adjust the battery wells to fit different sizes. Almost like sliding shelves... Just a thought
Awesome job man, it looks great as streamlined as you have it. I would love to try and work something out with you about acquiring one. Keep up the great work !
I think im going to be the first person to make it a wooden box lacquered with traditional japanese urushi,i collect, use and repair japanese swords and when you see that beautiful color and finish on the saya"sheath"that is "urushi"lacquer and when done correctly the average amount of coatings will last for a long time, they say that it will still be nice after it is passed to your grandkids grandkids! Also is oil, water, and acid proof, but being so expensive and time consuming i dont think people would buy one,so untill then......
What do you think about converting an antique whiskey flask into a DNA 30 or purely mechanical, box type mod?
Really cool!
Do you live on a military base? Looks like the same garage style, And everything ha
lovely wooden box mod, well done!!!!! have you tried other woods?(more grain patterns, different stain patterns, mixed hard and soft woods, even inlays)
thanks again.
Canadian wood lover
wayne stirling I used Wenge for my other box mod but only for the lid and back. I probably won't be building any wood box mod anytime soon because of the work involved. Thanks for the compliment!
Awesome man starting my first box mod next week, can I ask you, why do you prefer this over the mech mod? Is this for performance or because it just feels better knowing you made it?
First of all, just want to say you really do a good job bro! Do you think you share how you really did the top part of box v3....can't seem to figure out exactly how you did it. Have .5 inch pine, the bottom part I got but it's the top part gets me.
Wow! Amazing. I wish I had your skills man!
Hi. Whats the difference between box mod and mech mod?? Kind of confuse here.
Really nice man, could I as a favor and could you send me the size of the box you compared it too? I was wanting to build my own. You do really great work.
Damn!! that's a beautifull device did you handmade this?? very great!!
Great job mate. The box it's gorgeous!!!
PS. 2 problems with those switch's 1. the DC voltage will reduce the life time 2. if for some reason a short occur the switch will be damage. So never let a short occur or your gorgeous box will be broke for life since you can't change the switch :-(
Next box use a fet :-)
That's what I'm going to do for my next box. I already found the parts list and diagram. I'm still learning so thanks for the heads up. I will be asking you a question on your channel so please watch out for it.
hey i was wondering where you are buying your copper springs for your box mod because im making one and i cant find any
Hey brotha! Was just wondering if you also had a hard time soldering the springs and those copper sleeves to amy wire, copper or insulated cause I do. If not, would you mind telling me how you do it? I sure appreciate it man.
allan Lozada I haven't had any issues. All I can tell you is I use Flux paste to ensure a proper bond and a variable wattage soldering iron.
K....figured it out too. But also, what speed is your router when you use the big bit? We have the same router
What would you sell one of these type box mods for? It is a beautiful work of art! I'm sure you have well over 100 hours in it!
Hi nice box,I was thinking of making a mod from a old style whisky flask the oval type, but I get stuck when thinking how to make a open section to change the batteries,I think making the lip on the open section to replace the batteries would be a problem,Any idea`s
What's up brother,a 3 or even 5 amp switch is more than enough even though your build is drawing 10 plus amps from the batteries, the bulak boy and even the CCI box mods have a 5 amp switch and people super subohm with those.that newest box mod is stunning,he'll be happy.
Thanks James. Just to be on the safe side, I'll be using a FET on my next build.
Clean ass box 👍👍
Whats the reasoning behind not selling these? :(
what coil build do you use ?
What switch h would be best for a dual 26650 in series without a mosfet?
Aaron reinhart none and you won't be able to find one that would fit in a Hammond box. I highly recommend that you install a Mosfet.
when will these be for sale?
can you make a video that you are making the wooden box mod?
Damn i want that box. Awesome work bro and if you wanna sell one let me know
Do you sell these box mods
if you start selling all of your box mods you make you would make so much money
where can i buy the 5 tank connector and switch from ?
Fatdaddyvapes.com for the 510 and eBay for the switch. The switch is rated at 3A so use at your own risk.
hi @al usaf can i buy one of your hammond box mod?

Would you build me a box MOD? If so what would your price be?
ang galing mo . idol. can i have 1...:)
I need to go there
Vapetasia juice is the best!!!
Teach me your ways lol
Don't give you next mod away. Build it and let the subscribers bid on it.
Came out really nice. Would love to see a series tutorial vids on building one. Saw this 60A. I think this was the one you were referring to on the vid coming from China. www.ebay.com/itm/300533605431?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I check the manufacturer's website, Apem, but none of their anti-vandal/security series of switches actually have that specific amp rating. I will actually post a video with links that somewhat explain switch amp ratings. According to the link I found, a switch rated at 3A/120vac is more than sufficient enough for a typical parallel box mod.
I LOVE YOUR DESIGN AND YOUR WORKMAN SHIP YOUR FREND V W WHITE
are you a pinoy dude? lol
hi sir can you give me 1 mod ? please ? i just wanna quit smoking , but i dont have money to buy a vape . thank you sir .
You should make one for me
as a matter of fact you could sell me one like the v2 and ill be happy please please please
Being a Wood Carver, I know you have several hour's in a box such as that, so I can appreciate what I am seeing, a One of a kind! I would love carve up one of your wooden boxes for your personal use, with a design of your choice. I am a 'Vapster' and have several mods. Maybe you have some insight on my Hammond 1590b, when triggered, it continued to fire when released, also the irlb 3034 chip is getting very hot. It goes into self destruct mode! if you want to see some of my carving work Google Razorayz guitar tattooz.wix
you dont have to annouce it for me just sell me one
cool sell with me
I have its called the curve26 and comes with two tubes one tube for a 26500 battery and the other tube for a 26650 or a 26500 and a kick it's all anodized aluminum and I have a 26500 battery to go with it, would you trade a wood mod for it, i'm not a nit picker, just a dual 18650 or single it doesn't matter, I would just like a wood mod, I like the feel of wood, you can find the mod I'm offering at nhaler.con it's called the curve26, take a look and let me know ok, Thanks and Great work
Mark Ruslinzski I currently don't have a wood mod that's in working order. I'm working on overhauling my V2 but no go for the trade.
Bro that box is sik sell me one
hi @al usaf can i buy one of your hammond box mod?
Would you build me a box MOD? If so what would your price be?
You make the cleanest box that I have seen thus far! Keep up the good work brother! I hope to one day own one of your boxes!!!
Appreciate it Chris...thanks!
