Made the trip from the US and was sitting the section above you! So worth the trip and actually had a couple of drinks at the Caxton Arms! Great place! Thanks for the great videos!
For me Welbs has to be player of the season so far. Leading in goals, organizing the press from the front, and seeming like the lightning rod of good form where everyone that plays with him gets better. Seems to be really good with the young guys as well which is my favorite part
How do Brighton do it? One thing that is underestimated in football is the ‘work environment’. At the end of the day football is a job for those who play the game, especially at the higher levels. Tony Bloom has put a lot of effort into making sure that Brighton is a supportive and enjoyable place to work, and it can’t be underestimated what effect that has on the manager and the players. Man United, on the other side of the spectrum, shows exactly what happens when you have a toxic working environment. It doesn’t matter if you employ all the best people in their field if you put them is an environment lacking basic trust and decency. They will fail. But if everyone pulls together, you can move mountains.
I get this strange feellign that the new coach will continue with this toxisim, not becuse he is toxic but if top management is toxic then the coach will end up being like that . I base this on my jobs from the past where the person we blame are not really to balme becuse the non tech bosses at the top only want to squeeze profit. ( I'm from IT in India )
@ The new owners are weeding out the bad apples at United. Ten Hag was just the wrong coach and part of the old regime. The new guy seems positive. Untied need to weed out some players with bad attitudes. Look like you’re heading in the right direction. You are right though. A few bad managers can ruin an organisation.
