So glad I found this video as I'm about start sewing one of these! You did a great job and good tip about using the fabric scraps as stuffing! I love your sense of humour. Cheers
Thank you so much! Your comment really made my day :) Sew desu ne does a great job with her instructions, so you should be fine. Good luck with your sewing project!
OMG!!!!Holly Bat Cave!!!!! Thank you so so so very VERY much for posting this video and sharing this link with us!!!! I've been dying for a bat plushie for so long, and now I get to make it my self and I am so extremely thankful for that!!!! So thank you and I hope you have an amazing day always!!! Best of wishes to you and thx again!!!!!
Awww thank you so much! Your comment made my day! ❤️ Yes, Choly makes such wonderful patterns, I wish I could do them all. Thank you so much for your comment and good luck with your bat buddy!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I will have to talk to Choly and get her permission to do more videos. I know she wants to make her own video tutorials as well, so we will have to see if I can do more.
This is so amazing! I couldn’t get the patterns online but with your tutorial it was sooo easy! Mine turned out so well! And I’m still a beginner! I made it as a toy for my pup with a squeaker in the head.
Fox Tail Brush yey, I’m glad it did! Loved following your tutorial and also your voice is absolutely perfect for this! It made me so excited to try this out! My bat has a much simpler face so it’s not too tempting for my pup to chew on and also I had to use felt because we have no cute fleece colours around here! It’s not as nice but it’s good enough for a dog toy! If you want to check it out have a look on Instagram @star_the_cutepit and see my pup pose with it!
Thank you so much! Have fun making your own. Sew Desu Ne also has printed fabric that has the pattern on it with beautiful designs. Check out her website, the are so cute!
I'm sorry! I was trying to keep the video short. But hopefully you can find a stitching video that can help. If I make another sewing video in the future I will show the stitching.
I love thoose patterns too and already used some!^^ But I would not reccomend stuff plushies with fabric because after washing there can grow mold and stuff uwu
It's hard to say, I know my machine sometimes acts up with certain fabrics. You can try adjusting the thread tension on your machine (this helps me usually). There are times where my machine refuses to sew a certain part for some reason... No matter how much I make adjustments, but other parts with the same fabric work fine.😩 I think I'm jinxed lol. But hopefully the thread tension can help (try the bobbin tension too). I have never tried socks for filling, but if the thread doesn't help see if changing the filling affects it. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck with your bat!
I would love to, but I haven't had time to make videos for a while. Also I need to get Choly's permission every time I do one of her patterns. BUT I would like to try making more in the future.
Thank you so much! I do have older videos that are crafting, vlogs, and different things. But I haven't posted any new videos in a long time, sorry. 😓 To see all the videos I have you can just click on my name and it should take you to my page.
Hello! To be honest, I'm not there best with fusible web 😣 The one I used want strong enough so I ended up stitching the face on. I would go with a strong holding one especially if this is for kids. Hopefully someone at your fabric store can be more help. I'm sorry I couldn't help more.
I'm sorry for the delayed reply! I used a double sided fusable web to stick the eyes on. You iron the fabric for the face into it, cut it out, then peel the paper and iron it to the face. I have also made one where I sewed the eyes and things on using thread in the same color as the eyes and things. I actually prefer to sew it on, especially if you will be hugging it a lot. ☺️ That way you know they won't come off, even after tons of love.
Hello, I used fleece for this. Choly mentions other fabrics that work on the pattern printout. But I find that fleece is the least expensive and also a good texture (also I find it easier to sew than the fluffy fabrics)
UPDATE: Here is the updated link for the bat pattern!

@@foxtailbrush4211 thank you so much! The video turned out great regardless.
Thanks look so easy to make it thx
Yay a new tutorial!
Does that mean you're going to try it? 😏
I love thoose patterns too and already used some!^^

Love it! I'll be making it soon. What kind of stitch did you use for the applique? Thank you :)
Thank you for watching! I did a back stitch on the appliques. I feel like it looks nicer and is very secure. Good luck making yours! 😊
Will sock like material be okay to use for this pattern. I made one wing and it gets sucked into the machine? Is it the sock or my machine?
It's hard to say, I know my machine sometimes acts up with certain fabrics. You can try adjusting the thread tension on your machine (this helps me usually). @@foxtailbrush4211 yes I will check. Thank you for the advice, I think it’s thread tension on my machine. Thank you 😊
Can you do the backpack dragon one?
I would love to, but I haven't had time to make videos for a while. Also I need to get Choly's permission every time I do one of her patterns. BUT I would like to try making more in the future.
Thanks love your video. I would love to see more videos. Do she have a youtube page? Or is the more videos?

I love that one! It looks so cute. I might try it soon. 😊
Yay! That one is one of my favorites. I've made the narwhal, pheonix, and dino so far.
Hi. What kind of fusible web do you recommend using?
