Right?! Such an underrated track, and together with one of the best short animations I've ever seen, I come back to this video time and again! I love your approach to music btw!
I stumbled upon Bonobo when I was 12 and it changed my perspective of music ever since. This remix is taking me back to that old feeling of musical discovery. These feels are indescribable. Brilliant job.
I've watched this video about 6 times in the last 2 days. Hypnotizing beat and eye candy from start to finish. The storyboarding must've gone on for DAYS! This is a masterpiece for the senses.
This not only music, this is not only animation, this brings the possibility of a trance state + mediation. I zoned out at work, felt the surroundings, felt myself, felt at peace. Machinedrum's song "Whatnot" was also able to bring me to this state. This guy is amazing
Anthony schepperd: I'm going to make an unaware representation of a creator creating a self aware representation of their creative process that becomes aware of it's creator. Luckily this video is not aware of me...
I've just been on a journey...and I think I've simultaneously been hypnotised into believing this to be the best song in creation. Your artwork is incredible!
My interpretation of the video: The animator dropped some potent LSD, listened to Bonobo, and, wah-lah! Trippy fucking beautiful psychedelic goodness 👍👾
having found Machinedrum a while ago I still wonder when other music will sound like music again. Clearly he is the greatest composer of our generation.
Anthony Francisco Sheppard The Music Scene literally changed my life, that one and Wail to God. I love all his animations, so much meaning and they are so trippy.
I found this video because someone took the visuals and dubbed Concertina by The Mars Volta over it. Finally gave the original a watch and... god DAMN was I ever missing out!! What a song! That is beautiful!
thanks everyone for the love ! x
I still come back here for drum inspiration
love your creations man, good stuff!
Love bonobo and machinedrum!
@@minkusink6he's killing it rn
machinedrum i love you dude
Almost 10 years later I can safely say this was one of the most inspirational pieces of electronic music I had heard at the time
Right?! Such an underrated track, and together with one of the best short animations I've ever seen, I come back to this video time and again! I love your approach to music btw!
YOOOO sup Haywire!!! :D
That's saying something coming from you. Your music is really good too.
create a miracle 🖤🤌🏻
Same here. 12 years later.
Anthony Scheppard has just never missed with his animations. WOW
I stumbled upon Bonobo when I was 12 and it changed my perspective of music ever since. This remix is taking me back to that old feeling of musical discovery. These feels are indescribable. Brilliant job.
am 17 brother, parents listened to this on car drives when i was younger, never knew the artist name until this year
One of the best animations I've seen in a while. Anthony Schepperd has really created a unique animation style.
One of the few artists that sees the world the same as I do, the source that creates and the idea of singularity
I suddenly remembered this remix after over a decade. It's got a special place in my mind
Same here after listening Quartz - Lilac Cobwebs. These two songs transition will be amazing. I will give it a try tonight
I listen to it regularly. I’m just glad others are in the same boat. Masterpiece!
Three great artists come together and make a masterpiece for the modern age to boast.
3?
Bonobo, Machinedrum and the animator, Anthony Francisco Schepperd.
Zachary Gallant half life 3 confirmed
Zachary Gallant four. Andreya Triana too.
Just found out about bonobo today. My god, what have i been listening too? My perspective of good music is forever changed haha.
That's because it's real
Probably the best music video ever made by anyone.
Check out When I Was Done Dying by Dan Deacon.
different style but tools "Right in Two" is a pretty bad ass music video :)
Anythony Scheppard worked on that one too.
just discovered juke music
faaaakin love it
reminds me of my beloved drum and bass but with more soul and creativity
Definitely one of my favorite remixes of Eyesdown by Bonobo!!!
I've watched this video about 6 times in the last 2 days. Hypnotizing beat and eye candy from start to finish. The storyboarding must've gone on for DAYS! This is a masterpiece for the senses.
This remix is just too good, always end up coming back to it after all this time. And the animation is amazing too.
9 years and still at it!
Just love how the beggining and the end of the animation are inspired in the cover of the black sands album
Machinedrum was not afraid of using the kickdrum, such a style 🦚
This is good shit. It’s a rare occasion to see something this unique and wild.
can not get enough of the music.......replay. .....awesome....animal is cool too.....
This not only music, this is not only animation, this brings the possibility of a trance state + mediation.
I zoned out at work, felt the surroundings, felt myself, felt at peace.
Machinedrum's song "Whatnot" was also able to bring me to this state.
This guy is amazing
Couldn't have summed it up better myself, rise n fall does the same
@@gaybrahderpwood It's true, thanks for sharing it!
It's sad how people can dislike this. Anthony Francisco Scheppard and machinedrum are both artists beyond words.
I do not like this thumping beat, seems to change the tone and message expressed from the original tune.
@@ILuvLiv Well Simon Green loves it.
Not a problem anymore lmaoooo.
this is one of my favorite things that exists, aurally and visually, as one.
wish Machinedrum would make some more deep numbers like this.
Check out "Star" from his new album, its even deeper than this...
Yeah this is still pretty deep IMO
machinedrum, percussion wizard
Nah Afx schools this prick
Tombrosapien it’s about the appreciation not about competition smh, but yeah Richard is kinda low key hardcore on percs
I love the clicking noises that Machinedrum uses in all his new stuff, he truly is a god among men.
Anthony schepperd: I'm going to make an unaware representation of a creator creating a self aware representation of their creative process that becomes aware of it's creator. Luckily this video is not aware of me...
Yall the opening image is a direct reference to the black sands album cover art. I never noticed this before
What a beautiful audio/visual collaboration. From two beautiful artists.....
real music! real art! thank you so mucj, i haven't seen anything like this long long time ago!
More than 10 years ago, I still remember how this changed my life.
This is one of the sickest music videos I’ve ever seen
how some people dislike this fantastic piece of art? [ bravo bonobo! bravo machinedrum! bravo video ]
This song makes me cry. Really.
everything that bonobo touches is gold. also machinedrum rules =D
Bonobo, Machinedrum, and Miyazaki influenced animation. Incredible.
I've just been on a journey...and I think I've simultaneously been hypnotised into believing this to be the best song in creation. Your artwork is incredible!

Wow, i love this and the whole idea behind it
The room on those drums is so amazing!
I like how these kinds of low-popularity songs have so much more appreciation and less people bitching in the comments. I love it.
Getting goosebumps every time
This is a masterpiece !!!
Machinedrum is pure genius
that feeling i get when 3:16 hits, nothing can replicate it :)
machinedrum? visionary... type of guy i like listen

Anthony Francisco Sheppard
The Music Scene literally changed my life, that one and Wail to God. I love all his animations, so much meaning and they are so trippy.
Very cool! This music just pulls me upward, noticed the tempo thats half beat is almost like a heart beat!! So good..
One of the best music videos I've seen in years
bonobo+machinedrum = dopeee
This remix is very trippy , the vocals at the beginning are well done
merci ...trop bien....
je l ai mis sur facebook....j adore
ninja tune production is truly next level.
I love this. Reminds me of the old anime Akira. Brings me back to my childhood.
Excellent song, and video. Thanks for sharing
Mind split open , erased , re-animated then blown yet again . My kinda style ! great upload and tune is killer.
Tried this at half speed and you get a really funky almost Latin jazz sound. Triana's voice is almost the same pitch because of the .5 time stretch.
this tune still gives me the shivers
Masterpiece. Can you reupload in 1080p quality? thxs
breathtaking. machinedrum.....
The last 30 seconds is so intense, Freaking awesome.
Trippy, it's like jungle step or something. Nice find.
this video is inspiring to another dimension sober
So much symbolism!
Life is contagious.
Incredible tune. The video reminds me of when they rebuild Leeloo(?) in the movie 'The Fifth Element'
FLAWLESS. MASTERPIECE. NUFF SAID.
i haven't listened to machinedrum in years. his old old stuff is a little different but still great
I found this video because someone took the visuals and dubbed Concertina by The Mars Volta over it. Finally gave the original a watch and... god DAMN was I ever missing out!! What a song! That is beautiful!
That was beautiful
Wow that is fantastic/surrealistic the music is perfect for this
I have watched this so many damn times
Beautiful.
coolest video i have ever seen "!!!
Wow, I never noticed at 0:00 the opening panorama resembles Bonobo's Black Sands album cover
Stunning
greatest thing i saw in a while! BIG UP!
I can see what you mean. Same vibe and look. Amazing artist whoever it is.
This is better than an acid trip!
Anthony Schepperd is a savage!
Beautiful man, nice change of pace
the animation in this is freaking beautiful
Pure art!
That was fantastic to watch, thankyou.
