Ive been buying gold since 2020 and its the best thing ive ever done. Whenever i have spare cash i buy gold coins. If i had it in cash or in the bank id spend it more easily. Gold coins sitting in my safe is much easier to forget about. Since 2020 my gold coin collection is worth about 30k

I bought gold on a regular basis in SAIGON VIETNAM from the Viet Minh on the black market for 30.00 American dollars back in 66-69. I acquired a sizeable sum and sent it back to my sister's house back home. Still have all of it used it as collateral and built my credit.
I had easily this much gold in the 90s when it was ~$300 per ounce. Coulda woulda shoulda, I sold it to put a down payment on my house. Only upside is the house is now paid off.

If you wait too long it actually loses value from being too old. Real estate is not a long term investment and only gets worse with time you should always treat it as a business. Growing up, I used to help my father with our jewelry business. I was always fortunate to be around 22 and 24k gold. No other metal has the same weight or feeling of gold. It wasn't unusual at times to have over kilograms of inventory. Something like 35 oz of gold 😅

Research the gold/silver ratio, dude. Silver is expected to outperform gold in the coming years, so you could always take some silver and swap it for gold at some point.
If you bought gold in a years you made about 12%. If you bought silver, then you made about 24%. Who knows the future? Both are great!! I’d take my chance on more silver in 2025, if I had the means. Do your homework. And good luck!!
