I don't think many fans are being fair about Alexis' talent show. It was perfect for the style and reference she was going for, and her pitch was perfect. You might not like what she did because it is an older and more subdued style and reference, but don't flaunt your lack of knowledge and cultural references by saying she was off or something similar, because she truly was not. If we are talking TALENT, she really displayed a lot of it.

Yeah and ESPECIALLY because they were gonna pick two winners she was never going to get a winner spot. Spot 1 was reserved for the best of the comedic or story telling acts. Spot 2 was reserved for the best of the dance/music acts. If Alexis got picked over Jaymes it wouldve looked weird and if Alexis got picked over Lala it wouldve looked weird. I honestly wish that the girls liked Alexis more and wouldve given her Kudos for that because she keeps showing why shes top 4 material in every season shes in. Shes such a tour de force in her specific lane.

As a fellow Canadian and Drag Race fan, I am so proud of Jimbo! Jimbo is a creative genius, she did so well on this season. People focus so much on the lost lipsyncs, but she killed basically every challenge, and she is absolutely hilarious. Her Snatch Game performance made me cry laugh, and is probably my favorite snatch game performance of all time, and there are so many good ones that I love! I think she truly deserves to win the crown.
Kandy is 100000% correct if she sent Jimbo home it would have not only affected her career but they weren't going to give her the crown anyway

You can tell Jimbo is intelligent and kind hearted. Kandy was a good contrast this week, offering a bit more spice and entertainment. I hope Jimbo wins, she deserves. Every season she’s delivered excellence. Kandy did okay, I don’t think she brought anything new or elevated (just the same + more expensive budget that seemingly all went into 2 piece outfits no shade 💀)
I already loved Jimbo but when Jimbo kindly advised Kahanna on how to act, and Kahanna killed it?!! THAT is a queen I want around as long as poss :)

If she would have snubbed Jimbo, it would not have been like any other robbery as there has never been a top two finale on All Stars before. That on top of y'all already not liking her (for reasons I still don't know), it would have been catastrophic. $200,000 minus taxes would not cover the lifelong harassment she would have received, the threats to her safety, her peace, and mental health. She'll make that money and more herself by staying in everyone's good graces. Life will reward her for her integrity.

Yeah I honestly never thought Id see the day where id be apologizing about things I said/felt about Kandy, but here we are. All that being said its not like I then think Alexis was in the wrong for anything, it kinda seems like both of them got spun around a little bit in the show and said things then forgot about them or said things cause itd be good tv but then didnt like that it had other consequences. Always surprised how reasonable and human the queens are after seeing things online and seeing them on the show. Except for Kahanna; that girl took a cute edit on the show and just completely destroyed it in a day.

Im gonna play devil's advocate and say its not just fatphobia and racism (even though those will always play a part in it). Speaking for myself and others ive seen echo this opinion, shes carrying a lot of mistrustful feelings from production doing backflips in her ORIGINAL season to keep her there even if its not like she was babied this season. I also think Kandy is so much more charismatic and real here (at Roscoes) then she is on camera which is fine cause camera isnt reality but it reads a bit to certain viewers (myself included) as duplicitous or maybe even insecure and masking. Final thing Ill say and this is once again no fault of Kandy's but because she placed so highly on her og season the way her edit goes in this season is not a redemption for her flaws in season one, which is what she deserves cause she fixed a lot of serious criticisms people had of her then, but just a continued celebration of Kandy being Kandy. That doesn't make the viewer feel like shes earned things over the queens who do have redemption edits even when she has.
@@feelingveryattackedrn5750 hear you. You have some valid points. And I actually find Kandy more likeable in this viewing than on the show as well. I also have to admit that I didn't find Jimbo as likeable in CDR1 and UKVSTW than I do in this season and this viewing. Edits can be very powerful.
Kandy is great for TV and shouldn't be getting any hate. Her aesthetic in general is not really my favorite but you don't always have to vibe with everybody to still have a lot of respect for what they do. Happy she tried to stir stuff up but I wish we could have also still had Heidi stay
If she doesn’t want to get any hate she shouldn’t strut around with that tough guy persona. She’s deliberately COMBATIVE as her character. Maybe she’s sweet and kind at home in her pyjamas but her character is aggressive and that’s what she shows the audience. They call her “the producer” for her need/skill to control and orchestrate scenarios and she absolutely knows she’s making money off causing strong feelings of anger and offending people. We’re just money in the bank for this cow. That hate pays for her fried chicken.
