im a (female) middle school teacher and i see girls treated like poor caitlyn all the time - if they are more beautiful, intelligent, athletic, or popular with boys than the others while not exactly fitting in with the other girls (either due to race/morals/personality/etc), the other girls will hate her/gossip about her/call her a "pick me"/exclude her no matter how kind she is to them in return. caitlyn's response was nothing but supportive, classy and kind, but i have a feeling the other women who hate her will be able to project all kinds of malice and passive-aggressiveness into it.

It's crazy that everything is focused on hype and all of that instead of winning. Clark can't win, so everyone is focusing in on the money she brings in and everything instead of what's important in sports. I'm reminded of the great rant of Herm Edwards, "You play to win the game. Very sad to see a woman who has not matured at all over the last 20 years and then setting the tone for the rest of the league to act like spoiled high schoolers. Caitlin never claimed she was going to come into the league and average 35 or 40 right off the bat.
