Yeah, he pretty much pleaded with law enforcement to get it arranged for medical professionals to be able to study his brain. He always said that he didn't understand why he became a serial killer or why he had such disgusting & twisted fetishes (I guess that's the right word?) And he wanted something good/helpful to hopefully come from the evil that he knew was inside him.

My grandmas brother was married to the mother of Richard Ramirez. He wasn’t his bio father, but stepfather. Although they were equally horrible and cruel fathers. My grandma really distanced herself from her brother because he was a major drug addict and so was his wife (richards mom). They would steal anything they could to sell so they could get drug money. One of the last straws was at her and my grandpas wedding. But she apparently had photos of Richard that day at her wedding. She hadn’t seen him since he was a teenager and hadn’t seen her brother or his wife either. They all lived in the Bay Area and around the same area but were still estranged and didn’t ever visit each other. When the news broke about Richard being caught and arrested my grandma had a mental breakdown. She locked herself in the garage and tore into her wedding album to burn the photos of Richard and any pictures where he, his mom, and her brother were in the back. She never would’ve destroyed that album which was her world but the news about Richard made her want to erase him from every area of her life. She made her kids keep it a secret until she died. I had no idea. Something we would do together was watch movies with Shemar Moore, she loved him so much. I had watched Criminal Minds since I was little because of my parents. I would always ask my grandma why she didn’t want to watch it considering Shemar was on it. Something I never realized is that it’s because richards face is the first they show on the intro where they have the backdrops of serial killers.

This was horrifying to see unfold on tv in the early 90s when he was found out. Watching the barrels being removed from his apartment building. Hearing the testimony of the surviving victim. No, the victims were not victimized by the wife. She did nothing to harm them. The wife is most often, although not always, the FIRST victim of the serial killer. He kills her with his toxicity, which usually shows up in females as breast cancer. The more narcissistic the woman's partner is, the most likely she is to develop breast cancer and to die from it if she stays with him.
A serial killer robs the victims of the rest of their lives. However, he robs his wife and children of THEIR ENTIRE LIVES. Every moment, every once-treasured memory, every holiday, all the family photos, the home they share becomes like living in a graveyard, everything they once thought was true in discovered to be a lie. That is why they are the first victims.
The murdered victims had a life, a loving family (sometimes, not always), and usually had real relationships before they were killed. It is the rest of their life that they are robbed.
Rapists can do similar things unless the rapist knew their victim for decades before they prey on them. If the latter occurs, that victim is also robbed of all their once-treasured memories with the person they now know as a predator. They have to deal with all the cognitive dissonance and extreme trauma of knowing all that time the predator was just grooming them for predation, all the while pretending to be someone else. That is a major mindfck, and it usually results in that person losing several years of their own life with full-blown PTSD.

If I beged them to stop they would just get worse, I also tried to report them to the school authorities, which only made everything even more vicious and actually I got punished for "provoking" them.
Now come again?, You wonder if bullying is an atrocity?, I mean, they simulated gang-r@pe on me as a fun game, which basically was just regular gang-rape, but without penetration or taking anyones clothes off, though some of them did flash their genitals at me while making homophobic remarks of me "wanting it". Mind you, this is not an extreme case, this is just standard practice in most public schools here in Mexico, and I seriously doubt it is any better in the US. I think you must have either been one of the bullies yourself (maybe not the main one, just one of the groupies), or just one of the by standers who enabled them because you thought it was a fun game. I hate the word "bullying", particularly in Spanish because people don't know wtf does it mean, and in both countries, people seem to think it means playing pranks on the "school weirdo", for being a weirdo, because the victims deserve it for being "effeminate" (did I just accuse you of living in a bubble of privilege, and being complicitly bigoted against LGBTQ+ and neuro-divergent kids?, Yes!, I totally did!, because you probably are if you think bullying is no biggie!). Torture, would be the accurate descriptive term for this horrendous $h¡†, alongside Child-On-Child $EXUΔL Abuse/Harassment/Assault, because that is what it is, a bunch of casually enabled acts of mental, verbal, emotional, physical and $exu@l violence on vulnerable young people, by a bunch of morons (like you), completely oblivious to the suffering they are inflicting on people who simply are different from you. Sorry,, but if you participated in any of this truly heinous $h¡†, even if you where one of the casual bystanders, I think you are pettier, $h¡ttier, and , more vile and insidious than any serial killer or mass shooter, also because you are still allowed to fool around, and raise children, and participate in parent associations, and vote people into office.

Keith Jesperson’s (aka Happy Face Killer) daughter, Melissa Moore, who had a TV program for a while, said he was a great dad, overall, but also exposed a dark side to himself at times. She said he told her once when they were on a family getaway that the place where they were would be a good place to hide a dead body - which was later discovered as a dump site of his. He shared with her once that he knew how to kill a person and get away with it. On another trip they were walking across a bridge and he picked her up by the ankles and dangled her over the side and seemed to enjoy her terror.

I believe serial killers can do good things at points in their lives, like raise children and care for their family, so I don’t think it’s fair to say that just because they did some horrific things that they’re 100% evil and everything in their life was done out of selfishness and manipulation. I don’t know what the crime rate is for the State of Wisconsin but when it comes to the worst most awful criminal minds are for the most part in Wisconsin. Dahmer , The Slender Man case , Steven Avery , Darrell Brooks who drove through the Waukesha Christmas Parade , so many that have become the kinda stuff that movies are made of.

I can see that with Jeff, too. Jeffrey is an interesting case of what happened. His childhood wasn't that bad from what we know. I always wondered if his mom did something to him. She was quick to say, "It's not her fault," but maybe she didn't. He could have been a lonely little boy with the wrong genetics traits from both parents and add gay in the mix at time harder to be gay. I always felt someone SA him as child.

Truly fascinating dude! I think because he’s forthcoming and sympathetic in some ways for it. It’s also kinda worse because he still kept doing it, despite FEELING bad for those he hurt around him. It was this intense fear of abandonment and loneliness he suffered from. But I mean… really?!
There’s therapy, reaching out for help, building relationships and friendships, etc. what he did was totally sadistic and evil and twisted. Just consider what he was actually really doing and the fear he put into these folks in their final minutes. And then what he did to them after.
I understand feeling sympathetic for him IN SOME WAY - just not as an excuse for what he did. He totally got what he deserved and that’s that. The fact is.. there’s really no cure for these types of folks and the world is better without them.
