A bunch of damage - but their buffs keep them standing, no sure which but it keeps popping up every hit they take.

Some of both... This build has almost 1400 armor from the chrome and the on-kill bonuses are just adding to that. If I can kill enough on a consistent basis I don't really need to use health items. Generally I only need health against MaxTac.
