Yeah, it's weird how the community didn't flock to GoH, it runs amazing and looks a lot better. I do understand the barrier to entry having to own both CtA and GoH is a lot higher vs AS2 but still
@@theShermanator Then again Digitalmindsoft does release the same game, just makes it smoother every year. Can't count the amount of times i crashed playing multiplayer while running mods. My guess is all the multiplayer players moved on to CTA whilst all the editor and singleplayer players stayed behind.
@@theShermanator Ah I see, that makes sense. I do hope MoW2 is going to be as good as CTA, GoH, and MoWas2. An easy mod porting option in MoW 2 would be amazing.
@@blueberet0 thats the thing though, I check the workshop page for mowas 2 from time to time and its almost entirely dead, pretty much the only things posted there anymore are russian localizations of old mods
It wasnt actually the 82nd who captured that bridge it was the 3rd canadian infantry division. John S. Thompson was a candian soldier who was given the militry cross award and subsiquently had the bridge named after him in 2010 after major repair and refurbishment work. The ceremony was atteneded by John S. Thompson himself. He passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 98
What are you talking about? The wiki says it was a guy named John S Thompson as part of the 82nd AB, the Canadians didnt reach the bridge before the Airborne did lmao?
bro what the fuck are you smoking? No Canadians fought in Market Garden some engineers built pontoon bridges, but that was it. More so the 3rd Canadian Division taking part in the liberation of Boulogne-sur-Mer which is over 350km away in FRANCE. Check your facts mate. The bridge is literally named after John Samuel "Jocko" Thompson who like Sherm said was a 1st Lieutenant, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne there is an entire After Action Report detailing the battle of the Bridge i'd recommend reading it.
Got slightlty confused by the statement this scenario was about the 82nd near Grave when all the units are adorned the 101st Screaming Eagle badge. I think that's incorrect, it should be the 82nd All American badge.
Clearing trenches in FPS mode is damn hard in GOH. We have to play like Lt. Speirs.😂
lmao exactly
I have watch your videos of gates of hell like 3 times and i like go back and watch again, you play really good
cheers!
More Gates of Hell baby!
yaaa
This campaign is amazing, I'm loving this serie!
🙏 Thanks to Sturm!
@@theShermanator thanks to Sturm too ✌️🍻
They use coh1 voice lines for units, love it
well Valour mod does, the developers of the game arent working on the valour mod ofc
I've just bought call to arms recently, this looks nice. It is pretty sad how both games dont have as much mods as Assault Squad 2 though

Probably no 82 badge in the mod so he used the next best thing
I wouldn't tell any of the 'Screaming Eagles' that they're 82nd Airborne to their faces...(those are 101st AB patches...)
Yeah mod only has 1 patch so thats why ;)))
@@theShermanator :) Fair enough!
