- As a foreigner traveling in India I book a train ticket to Goa. Though first one last walk exploring Mumbai and experiencing Indian hospitality, talking to many of the locals learning more about the local culture and customs. At Chowpatty beach I try pav bhaji street food for the first time in good company. At the end of day we ride a packed Mumbai local train. Thanks to all the Mumbaikars and their kindness!

Goa is beyond beaches and nightlife ... come to experience our legacy of Indo-Portuguese heritage homes besides hidden gems. I am from Margao, the city where our main railway station is located, in South Goa. It would be nice to meet you. Do visit the heritage houses which is walkable around the Holy Spirit Church square near to where I reside, and then also you must visit Chandor, which was the capital of Goa, centuries ago under the name, Chandrapur. Goa's largest house (heritage) is there open to tourists, and a nearby heritage house as well which has an escape door on the ground leading to a getaway tunnel. Best wishes, Basil, Margao - Goa

Yeah I tried a few and they performed pretty well. Problem is short subs don't watch the long videos and too many will kill a channel because of how the yt algo works. Growth comes easy but it's like having fake subs and I stopped because they were negatively impacting the channel. I knew this already but yt promised improvements in 2023 but the system is still flawed. Shorts belong on a separate channel which I might create later.
How I wish if I could see your childhood photos, dear Pedro. You seems to be an Indian now. Enjoying trains full of crowds, and facial expressions. All good "achha hai"

Full train experience is something.. salute.. between 5pm to 8pm there can be some very daredevil hangers in fast trains from churchgate to virar
There are many beautiful places in Maharashtra which you should explore.. a road trip to Goa would have been an all together an different experience as you could have explore places such as pune, panchgani and Mahabaleshwar which are hill stations, Maratha warrior shivaji maharaj forts, the hills and valleys

People are 🙏 Stuffy heat mate, the kind that makes you wish for aircon at times but the worst heat is still to come in the 40's + humidity
@@MadlyRover Hopefully it won't be a humid this year, last year in Ireland we had 32 Celsius at one stage and my friend who is from India said it was actually not too far off an average day in India due to the humidity we get here, and our buildings are poorly designed to handle anything above 25 Celsius 😂

Just some advice… Indian government has put mrp ie maximum retail price on all goods which you buy in packaged form. It will be on the label so you should only pay that amount maximum. Like aerated drinks, chips soap, deodorant etc everything. So just check the price before you pay. You can ask for discount from that mrp also.

It's going to be too hot when you'll come to North India. Temperature in Delhi goes upto 45 C (113F). You should skip Delhi and it's neighbouring states and MUST explore Uttarakhand and the North Eastern states

I made my bed and will find out but yeah I've heard of the heat then in Delhi, this country just has too many places to go. Mumbai local trains are crazy but I do miss them since I've left. Sure the metro's are nice and cool but they don't touch the soul like those loud banging trains do with the doors open wild and free.

This is cool area 20 year before at 2003 i came here (chowpatty near AIR INDIA) & stayed 2.5 year after that i moved to CST side, on 2008 i left mumbai & now am staying in my native MANGALURU.
Just go to Pune and Nashik they are also amazing in Maharashtra...

I’ll not expect from you too as generally europeans prefer beach over mountains but if you don’t, you should definitely visit our north east part of India , you’ll love it ! The cities which you mentioned are overrated and specially Goa , foreigners who visit India for first time or second time in here go to those places , but if you’re not the one of them or if you’re idk you should try and visit those beautiful north eastern states 🤍. @@MadlyRover The north is different from the North East. North = Delhi/Haryana/Kashmir etc. The North East is Assam/Meghalaya/Sikkim/Nagaland and others. Hope you cover both areas!
Irish person here. I definitely prefer mountains over beaches, mountains are generally more peaceful whereas beaches are always too busy, unless you visit during winter 🙂
