I absolutely love watching TH-camrs play The Isle. It's fun, entertaining, and offers a cool new perspective in gaming. However this Shaunt epidemic, in where they are KOSing like crazy, has convinced me not to buy The Isle and wait for Saurian. Love your videos Beaver and I'm sorry that you lost all your progress to someone who's having a bad life and decides to ruin someone else's experience by KOSing.
I absolutley despise agro herbs. Once I spawned my Acro right next to one that had chased me down earlier when I spawned as an Allo. It was a fucking spawn camper Shant, and I lost hours of work because some douche wanted to have a sadistic laugh.

Because this is not some shitty Fornite stream with a 32 year old man is raging on when a 13 year old killed him with a pistol at the start of the game.
Spino can actually take down a Shant pretty easily as long as you get it to run around you and just keep biting it in the back. Also just run around when it tries to stomp. I've killed 2 shants as spino so far
I can't say thank you enough beavs for doing these kinds of vids, it's so awesome to see you do these type of vids for a grind, I'd love to c u make another one for new Dino's but I understand that it's hard work and if u don't wanna do them, but just know we love u and whatever vids u make we'll watch♥️

Depends on the spawns. It can take over an hour to get to top tier herbs if you not near many progression plants.
Ive made it to shant in 10 minutes its so unbalanced.

Hey Beaver, yeah, those shants are KOS'ers, they just love to kill anyone they see, including herbivores not in their circle. They had a spino carebear so Anthomnia and his gang killed off the carebear. So whenever you see those shants again, better not mess with them as they're good PvP'ers, bloodthirsty.

Shants are mosty jerks now. Even herbavors are in danger. I'm sure that the devs knows about it by now. Hopefully they're working on it. If you have the time to play the isle try aiming for the allo,carno, or utahra. They are pretty good and are faster than shants(correct me if I'm wrong).

You know, that a Shant was bigger than both Rex and Spino and had more mass? In a stream not long ago Dondi showed how big it should be. Therfore more hp for Shant is perfectly fine, the problem is that you can get stuck on them and that they need just like 10 minutes to get to it, which will be fixed in V4. And to be honest, if you wouldn´t get stuck on them, a lonly Shant is not that big of a deal. A Rex can break its leg, and a Spino has a better turn radius.

the legend himself It also seems to deal massive damage. It's just hadrosaurus how fucking strong does it need to be. It seems more dangerous than a trike, ankylo and stego to me in the isle because of their speed.
From what I've seen from your vids and other youtubers playing this game, the herbs seem beyond OP and it's not even worth it to attack them and play the game. Seems like the herbs can be upgraded much, much faster than carnos and it just seems stupid to waste all your time attacking a herb when there is so much to lose. I do want to get this game though.

It's the herbivores. If people keep this up then dondi is considering removing herbivore playability and making them AI only. As much as I don't want to see that happen, people deserve it for being KOS like this

ThePeskyCarnotaur that's sad. Really sad... I'd hate to see herbs go as I myself love them but me and some spinos had a truce with shantus and my friend was one. They told me to tell my friend to KOS the peaceful herbs for no reason? We had food so I said no, got called stupid, weak and a carebear and they killed my friend. Long story short I ran off and then an army of Shantu (most where my friends on steam I found after) and destroyed them. The other spinos also thought they owned the place and could face-tank and charge a shantu :/

Yeah, sad but true. But in a certain sense I agree with dondi. It would suck, but a few people can ruin it for everyone. These people need to be taught a lesson and learn to understand that if you play as an herbivore, it's not supposed to be fun and games. Sensible people pick herbivore knowing that they are merely prey, and their role in the ecosystem is to feed carnivores. However the KOSers don't understand that. And if they don't shape up, they will ruin it for the rest of us. Either that, or shant will receive a heavy speed nerf
ThePeskyCarnotaur I disagree that a developer of a video game needs to babysit and raise the children that play their game to teach them how to play nice. That's a parent's job, not a video game developer's. The most productive solution is NOT to remove a big part of gameplay. This is a business and in this business you got to know how to think creatively. We pay Dondi to continue making this game and without his fanbase he would never get as far as he has. Removing such a large feature will ultimately bring down his already-questionable reviews which is something he largely depends on. If he chooses to remove this feature, not only does he ruin it for his playerbase that he says he cares about, but he also ruins it for himself. Now I believe Dondi knows this, so I don't believe he'd actually remove this feature yet, but the fact that he'd threaten it astounds me.

My friends and I hunt down any Shant. We basically just open up the server, and ask: "Who hates Shants?" Everyone that does joins the pack. It's such a beautiful sight seeing a Shant running from a pack of Rexes.
Beaver u need to do the spino again it was so epic n cool seeing the transition to swampy areas it was amazing and the spino is my favorite dino I hope one of these days I can play the ilse n have a good enough computer to run it pls do the spino again or the hypo spino when it is released 😀😊☺

You know what the best nerf to Shants would be? It's not a decrease in health or damage output, nor a reduction in speed. It's the blue plants. A herbivore player only needs to find a good patch of them, and they can easily progress. What needs to happen is that the blue plants need to become a lot rarer than they are right now, and spaced far apart from each other. To me, this is the only real answer to deal with large groups of KOS'ing Shants. Since it would harder to progress as a herbivore, players would be more inclined to play defensively.

There are so many agro shants, it's so annoying. Spino, Rex, and Shan't are pretty even, except that shant has way more stamina, and i'm pretty sure takes less time (unless you can't find blue plants) to get to. i died twice from shants lol
