RIVER POLLUTION VIDEO

Our rivers/riverbeds in Sierra Leone including those along the Pampana are facing serious threat from gold mining where the gold miners/financiers who are mostly foreign nationals engage in dredging of these river beds. The once fertile soil in these riverbeds have now become mined out with piles of sand and degraded soil.
This caught up the attention of the government and we are continuing our efforts towards taking actions in protecting our environment. In this video, we went on monitoring and raiding along the Pampana river and we destroyed twenty dredges. Please take a view
