these trips are my favorite been waiting for another adventure. i loved that scout with the camper fred did an episode on so glad it’s still around!
It's funny that I never knew much about Scouts until I bought a radio controlled Redcat Gen 8 scout crawler truck.
Now I love them and have several aluminum upgrades on my RC Scout.
When I lived on Maui back in the 90s I had a maroon '72 Scout with 258 and 727.
I've also had a '61 80, a '77 traveller with 345 and 727, and a '74 304 4 -speed, I loved them all but that 258 727 was the perfect island surf safari cruiser!

Even though I am a senior in high school currently and drive an 03 Tacoma Doublecab. Imma get myself one of these in the next couple of years cause it is my dream to own a Scout ii or Traveler haha. I first saw one in Fools Rush In(1997) and realized that wasn't a bronco haha. Ever since then I have been hooked to the old international stuff. Love these videos man keep up the great work!
I have a 73 with a 258 and the 727. Was delivered new to the phone company. Factory travel top but has the bulkhead and no back seat. (Info from the LST)
