@@officialCannisMajoris what does undead have to dispel? Destroyers are the only thing I can think about, and I'm not sure they can
@@officialCannisMajoris at one point it used to be a caster fiesta, then they got hit hard with nerfs such as not gaining damage on upgrades and creating unarmored armor type.

This reminds me of that school assignment where you have to carry an egg around for a week without letting it break
Back then, I thought, what's the point of Polymorph? You invest so much teching into it, spend a lot of mana to use it, then it would just be dispelled so easily.
But this video made me realize how essential it is to have easily accessible dispels for the sake of balance. If you just let your opponent go for mass sorceresses (+Brilliance Aura), and you just happened to not tech into Destroyers, it's just going to be a very miserable experience.

I think this is why almost every UD techs into at least slaughterhouse/Statues anyway bcos what other dispel options do they even have right

Too expensive?
Yes major weakness for Undead is lack of efficient dispel magic esp compared to NE and HU
Destros are the only dispell option of UD and the only one that requires tier 3, so yes is pretty expensive

Do this with night elf using their basic night invis and glaives.
Here's an idea. I don't know if it's possible and if it is if you've already done this, but: try winning with just tavern heroes and mercenary camp units. Bonus points if you maximize your gold income as much as possible. Basically buy your way to victory without doing any of the dirty work yourself.

imo, it's underpowered due to how costly it is (2 sorc research, tons of mana) compared to each race's dispell.

It never got destroyed, it did ruin the enemy's base. I guess you could say it was unstoppable.
