That’s a nice unit. I looked at it, but it seemed a bit heavy to me, especially with the motor on the cutting end and the battery onboard. I’ve been using the KMA 130R kombi system and I’ve been loving it. Carrying the battery on a harness has worked pretty well for me making the machine much lighter. Anyway, thanks for the review!
Hey mate Ye, I'm looking at switching to a kombi set up. Probably going with 135 R. Just makes sense. I don't find this one heavy, but mind you, before this one I was running a petrol Shindaiwa for years. Have a great 2024 mate 👍
Sorry to hear mate. I have not had any trouble with mine, except a part in the gearbox broke. But that was due to me not securing it around and it was rolling around in the back of the ute, user error. Was it different faults each time or the same one over and over?
@@mowtime it's on its 3rd motor , the head adjuster cable broke (probably damaged while motor was being changed ) and the head casing has been changed ,
Hi Adam Apologies for the delayed response. Yes, they are the same power/cut. Both run on the same AP battery system, just as you know the kma is a comby system as opposed to the hla systems. Hope that helps. Have a great day. 🙂👍🏻
Thanks lad ,,, good on ya , hope you and the family are having a great weekend ......
Thanks Andy. You to mate 🙂👍🏻
Thanks for the review ,you’ve answered all my questions in this presentation 🌿
Thats great 😃 . Glad it was helpful.
Have a great day. 👍 😀
Great vid,I use one commercially & its extendable brother, very good & reliable trimmers...

@@mowtime I’m sure it will work out great for you! Having the battery onboard is definitely convenient!👍
Awesome bit of kit the pole hedgers. Great video mate 👍🏻
Thanks mate. Hope you and the fam are well 🙂👍🏻
Hope it's better than my 86 , just picked it up from the dealers after a 5th fault in a year 😡, 3rd motor 2nd Bowden cable and new motor housing

Does the HLA 66 have the same power/cut the same as a KMA 135 (battery Kombi) with a hedge trimmer attachment?

@@mowtimethis information is incorrect, the 135 is 4000rpm whereas the 66 is only 3000rpm, so the 135 will give a much smoother cut
33cm branch?! I think you mean 33mm
Haha ye, 33cm might not be correct…haha
Have a good weekend mate 👍🏻🙂
