You're right Randy! You never know what you're going get with weather conditions, and what the animals are going to do! Last year in Wy it was hot during rifle season, and we saw more deer, moose, black bear than we saw in the past five seasons. I actually got sun burned! I also tagged a good mule deer, and so did my buddy. Any time you can shot a muley with a bow your doing well. I wouldn't worry about scores. What a great hunt! You guys got some got some great footage.

I live in Colorado and I've hunted for years and have never tagged out, I still love it though, it's time with friends, it's time in the outdoors and I've got to tell you, I love your videos, it's like reliving my time outdoors. Great video! I just started bow hunting this year in Iowa for White Tail deer and I cannot stand sitting still too long so I stalk hunt, I get a lot of flak from other Iowa hunters for this strategy but I love this type of hunting, it has given me the opportunity to get 5 yards from some does belly crawling and the wife got one on video haha. Plus I get to teach this strategy to my kids, I wasn't taught so I watch videos like yours and read so these are great. Thank you!
I have watched this on Amazon, the Amazon version on TH-cam provided here as well as the multi-parter shared earlier in the year. Spot and stalking with archery equipment is definitely a tough gig, especially with extra bodies following the hunter around. Definitely some cool heart pounding stalks, I am glad that there are people that understand that a hunt isn't all about the kill shot, even though venison taste better than tag soup. Here is another Someday video, just like you got to do a Someday today hunt with your Uncle Jimmer, along with some others like Dall Sheep in Alaska. I hope my brother sees a legal 4 point and has some cool encounters (not with grizzly bears) on his OTC rifle hunt in SE Idaho in October.

It means there is a steep cliff in the direction you want to go. You cant exactly repel it without loosing to much time and carrying more gear, so he is finding a way around it.

What I've learned about hunting with a bow is you should pull back before you think you should pull back. You will always miss your shot if you dont.
Moon phase and winds are just reason not to get out of bed. Just hunt!

We don't give units. A non-resident can draw every 3-4 years.
