I understand that a lot of these dances might seem a bit extreme for a high school pep rally but the deserved way more credit for the cool choreography. the crowd is killing me

Bring Me The PROTIPS I volunteer at a highschool as a tutor and walking down the halls at breaks... gives me the chills. I see little girls like 13 year olds wearing short shorts that look like underwear and they have their butts hanging out and wearing bras way too big for them and with extra padding and all this stuff and they are just flirting up the boys in gross, sexual ways and it's just mind boggling.
Kids at my high school smoke weed in the bathroom and vape in the classrooms. The teachers don't notice, and if they do they don't care. They even drink alcohol openly at lunch, but god forbid we wear shorts above our knees or worse, they see our phones out! My school is messed up.
If i was them I personally wouldnt care about what other people say about my dancing as long as im having fun im good. ya'll can say whatever you want because at the end im still gonna be dancing!
Except for 2 - 3 girls they all looked awkward. One girl was really in her element. If I was a scout I would definitely approach her to try out for a dance scholarship. Dancing without caring who's watching and just having fun is better than getting critized for the song selections or choreo. You have to love to dance first, in order to improve and become a great dancer. There's always going to be a choreography that you don't like as a dancer in a drill team and one that was your favorite, especially one you feel awkward as hell in because of the uniform but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it your all once your on that stage, football field, nasty gym floor or practice room. If dance is your passion you have to consistently improve to be able to feel and show the marriage between music and the dancer.

i was part of a high school dance team and honestly this is normal! As they said before, our job was to keep the crowd pumped and we always did hip hop at pep rally's to do that. If it was a halftime or competition we obviously wouldn't do a routine like this, but pep rally's is all about fun up beat routines. And some schools have different rules and stuff! So just let them be and enjoy the video, if you didn't like it then don't watch it! that simple
Coming from a drill officer I'm disgusted. Our coach would never in a million years dance like that. And everyone wants to focus on race, or size.... those girls are not building the courage and self image a drill team should build
As a dancer for 15 years, I agree some of the moves were not suitable for a high school dance team. However this is not a drill team, they are a dance team, as in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, modern, etc. My high school had the dance team (which I was a part of), and color guard which was totally different but similar to what a drill team would be.

Trust me, I get it- you think it's fun and cool, but it's a pain in the butt to dance with, and it's super distracting. I danced high school, collegiate, and semi- pro, and hated wearing my hair all down. Second- the songs were definitely not kosher for MOST school systems. But You could get past that and the racy dance moves if they weren't wearing short, tight shirts and booty shorts. Actually the choreography would look better with completely different outfits, and the girls could still feel sexy if they wanted. There are other things I'd touch on, but this comment will get enough haters as it is!

Doesn't just looked messy. Not clean at all. As a former high school dancer, college dancer, dance major, and dance instructor, that dance was just not appealing, not clean, and not appropriate.

if you listen closely you can hear people yelling and screaming and I thought that dance was amazing
