**********Music In Video Is Not My Own***********
I can't get enough of Bas's last flow where he uses the last word of every line for every beginning word of every line throughout, that's god tier penmanship.
The "young Sinatra, I'm frank with 'em" line reminded you of the "can't get enough of this Joplin. Janis, I dunno what the plan is" line handoff from the plugged in with fumez
Great reaction as always!
Oof. Didn’t catch that. Nice one!
they also did something similar with the betty crocker line on sindu sesh
Damn you missed what Bas did with the last verse 😅
He used every last word of each sentence he used that word to start the next line whilst the whole verse still made sense 🤯
Still appreciate you breaking down lyrics better than anyone else.
Damn dats crazy I didn't even deep that I'm listening to it now like wtf Bas is a Beast
I'm actually mad I didn't I catch that
Rolling with stick so I don't get PULLED
PULLing the Birds like rings on CANS
CAN a Man rest...... that's actually mad 🤯
@@ScuderiaSkoot Watching back is true respect for your craft. Don't worry though it happens to the best of us especially whilst smoking one.
@@ScuderiaSkoot yeah I was gonna say same, but it’s the concessions to keep the spirit of the form that I really appreciate. He doesn’t keep it completely one for one but he keeps it close enough that it still shows the skill. These guys are nuts. The lyrical wordplay is just top notch every time.
Hahahaha, I was waiting for him to catch it! I didn't catch it for a while myself, til I read some YT comments.
I love these guys dude, and your reaction was dope homie! Keep it up!
@@ScuderiaSkoot Could not believe it bro, you usually catch 97.1% of the lines, how you miss this? :D Sometimes things standing in plain sight are the hardest to see :P
The fact you ACTUALLY break the bars and schemes down makes me so happy cuz a LOT of people miss so much! Bas' 2nd verse with the simile switch is ALSO a callback to their Fumez feature ("big bands in the building filled in cracks in the wall so the feds can't see that stash...")
There's SO many callbacks and themes on top of the incredible bars 😂
The whole last scheme wasn't mentioned. Bas starts every line with the last word of the previous line for the entire verse...
Frank Zappa calls it 'conceptual continuity'
FINALLY!! I've been waiting ages for your reaction.
And they just released another killer, 'Gangster Sh**'
Masters 🐐 🐐
This Nelly remix is wild from 91 shots
91 shots keeps coming through with crazy heat
You were spot on when you said it was Missy-ish. It's Nelly, actually! Same vibe. Same era. When I realized it I was like, "No waaaaaaayyyyy..." hahaha Love your breakdowns!
You can hear the Nelly samples throughout
Your Track Childs play is cold bro 🥶
Much love and blessings to Pete and Bas.❤
Given that Frank Sinatra would be turning 108 this year, Bas calling himself a "Young Sinatra" is actually a brilliant facet of that line.. he's long in the tooth, but hes still young compared to Frank!
Def, need to react to Ganster Shiii! Love your reaction bro. Keep killing it!
You broke down these bars better than any reaction I've seen. These OG'S just got it. Bars and flow. WTF . The Richard Mille bar was so fire.
Bas used a similar line about "filling in cracks in the 'bando building so the feds can't find that stash" in their plugged-in with fumez, too. It was a metaphore turned real which was also a callback.
People miss the 'bruck' part of the line, which is slang for sex.
He's saying he 'brucked down' the birds 'like the bricks in the bando building, before elaborating both involved 'cracks getting filled in' 🤯
Best reactor in the business!
The cracks in the building bar is also a callback to their plugged in...cold
Great to see you back. Appreciate the content and always a great time watching a Pete and Bas breakdown 😂
I was waiting for this reaction !
They referenced SOOOO many old bars from other songs it's crazy.
Bruh,I Luuuuv The Breakdowns You Do About The Cadence And Bars. I completely understand what you mean. And I Found More Information That I Didn’t Know, Just By Watching Your Channel.Thanx Fo Dat Bruh. This Was Great Great Reaction Maaaaaaaine!👍🏾💯👍🏾
We ain't never seen or heard this fire . Last was the first.
Excited to watch this. You make the best Pete and Bas reactions!
Edit: Personally, so far this definitely ain’t my favorite Pete and bas song
Definitely need Pete and bas gangster shit now .
I love how much of these guys lyrics you pick up stright off the hip dude. Great videos.
"God bless my enemies, we're not chums I'm a different pedigree"
Pedigree Chum is a brand of dog food in the UK.
also bas after with pulling the can lid, like the pedigree cans
Wait til you hear their latest track "Ganster Shit" 🔥🔥🔥
Glovebox pinned to protect the mash = The Glovebox is locked to protect the gun
You are a true appreciator of quality flows and lyrics it is great to listen to your reactions
Soverigns (money) up to the kingdom come (bum) - swimming in cash
Hastings Direct is an insurance company in the UK that has famous advertisment's on the TV - kind of like Geico in the US.
Best US reactor on the UK scene hands down, keep it up!
They rap on beat all the time. At there age AMAZING
Glad you’re breaking down bars
sindu sesh is their best track to date
Gangster shit is good too
I'll hurt em..
..
..1 things for sure 2 things for certain fire
True
It's a simile inside a metaphor that describes itself. It's hot
I like how Bas is telling all the young guys they need to do better, wear classy 3 piece suits instead of looking like hoodlums
Devlin fire in the booth pt 3 . FIRE
Maan the best reactor
Can't believe you missed the anadiplosis on Bas' last verse.
Anadiplosis. Nice. Didn't know that was a thing. English Literature Teachers need to be teaching Pete and Bas in class instead of Shakespeare
@@tick999 😄 i learned it in the comments of the VibeVilla reaction
@George Kindl who'd have thought gangstar rap would be so heducational. I might even go back to school, retake my exams 🤓
@@tick999Need to be teaching Pete & Bas in *addition* to Shakespeare.
@@GlennRauch funny you say that, I'm dragging myself through Hamlet. Might just stick Lion King on again 😆
25 bags on a racing hound - bags = bags of sand = 25grand = £25k
🔥
Bacon is police bro
Baz' first flow is insane.😮
Been waiting on this, luv for dat, now u gotta do gangster sh** 🙏🏼🤣
Chums, pedigree, (dog food chums, also chum is a close friend), pedigree is a dog food brand
Bacon = police.
U should react to Morrison -Survivor.
Gotta remember...THEY are the original global gangsters... and they wore white wigs and buckled shoes and held down the world😢😅
👌👌👌🇨🇵🏆💯💯🇨🇵
I for sure don't watch a reaction to these guys that's under 10 minutes. Like how could that be enough time to even start to delve into it?
Chur
I think this one is my least favorite from P&B
Bas' flow on this is just... goddamn....like....goddamn. that Sinatra line is even deeper than him flipping the name. He says "I'm Frank with 'em." Then quickly says "Hit 'em." ...Sinatra was a notorious woman beater. It's a double on top of a triple.
Got. Damn.
And also the bar "Got birds lined up for the young sinatra".
It's British slang for women to be called "birds". And "birds" also is relevant to a few Frank Sinatra songs, 'Fly' me to the moon".
"Come 'Fly' With Me".
even the song "That's Life" lyrics has "I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly".
And you can even include the song "You Make Me Feel So 'Young''.
Cause the bar was "Got birds lined up for the 'young' sinatra".
It's genius how much thought must go into each bar by Pete and Bas.
Just stop pauseing!!!!!
That's kinda my thing, but there's plenty of other reactor on youtube that should fit u better. 🦹🏽♂️
