Really great video. So relaxing watching Brody and you at the beach . How close are you? I live in California, just north of San Francisco and about 15 minutes from the coast. Beautiful Pacific Ocean. But I am very attracted to your area . Totally opposite coast but it looks lovely and quaint. Safe trip .

I think Brody would love a mini pool. We got our lab one because we’re outside a lot and he wants to be with us. We fill it up with a couple inches of water and he loves to plop down in it and drink water while he’s laying:)

Be careful with Brody chasing ducks in the water! Ducks are known to bring dogs out into the middle of the water to tire the dog out so they drown. I’ve heard this happen too many times! 😢😢

brody is such a well behaved dog. im always so impressed how he stays with you off leash. definitely no easy training feat (my pup would never lmao)
Vets have a paid partnership with Purina. Kibble is not the healthiest due to the high temperature it’s baked at. Please add some veggies and protein to his food if you can. ❤️
I work in veterinary medicine, purina pro plan is the best! They do so much research for their foods.

Glad to have found you through Brooke + Danielle 💛 I have 2 golden retrievers; we also have them on Purina Pro Plan, per our Vet’s recommendation. Often switching the flavors up between beef, chicken, and the salmon. My girl does not like the turkey flavor 😂. I love your wholesome vlogs and I catch my pups watching it on the TV since Brody looks like both of them 🫶🏼P.S. that is my husbands name, which I find so funny
Speaking of dog food make sure people don’t feed grain free!! My pup was just diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy from it from acana good and he just switched to Purina pro plan!
You should stop by the West Barnstable feed and grain. They carry food and treats for dogs and livestock. Also they have chicks, peacocks and always have baby goats.
You could give him frozen veggies or cold fruit as enrichment. Soak tennis balls sometime or put that stick toy in water to cool him down. Get him a baby pool to lay in. Then he can enjoy being outside :)
My girl is the same way - always wanting to be outside in the TX heat. We got her a cot (elevated bed) when she was a pup and it’s her favorite place to lay ever. It’s breathable too!! The perfect outside bed for pups 🐶

My male golden Maverick also loves the hot sun! He will go on the deck and just lay down and doesn’t want to come in. I’m worried about him getting too hot, meanwhile he loves it!
