Oh man!!!! I forgot all about Fisher?! They use to make some great stuff!!! Sansui,Akia,Teac,etc,. Everything is home cinema now. I do must the old stuff from the 70's & 80's.

I'm so happy to see the retro equipment. I say the very same thing: STEREO systems today are very boring but no more components! They're basically dead without them! The Fisher thats what they use to call the earlier models , is fairly decent I miss them. I really want all the hi fidelity components back please! Computer downloading is todays choice no problem or is that what semi killed 8 tracks, cassettes, records & 💿 CDs, DATs ? Many other brands besides Fisher interest me as well as i view these many videos I still want stereophonics back there are many out there that wonder why computer only? Thanks for this 📹 video and many others by Fisher! 😀🔊

This is Fisher P-7 Midi Component System for those who is interested. Sirca 1987-88.
The speakers are Fisher STE-333 for international markets, the same as STE-1000 for Japanese market. Equipped with Twin Drive system, performing very deep bass at low volume level. The system also has very interesting remote control with ability to change equalizer settings remotely.
Actual sound is very reach, full of bass and chrystal treble.

@brystonfan You're right! Fisher made cheap stuff since the passing of founder Avery Fisher in 1994. For those of you who've never heard of Avery Fisher, he was a founder of an electronics giant that made stereos and receivers under the name "The Fisher". He was a fan of classical music as well when he was part of the NY Philharmonic for years.

this was the last series fisher (sanyo) made that was decent, i am not making this statement based on component cosmetics, fisher has made some decent stuff over the years, very high value-low cost, it might not be a krell or a bryston or a mcintosh or a retro pioneer or anthem, but it was exellent for the money, this video does not do the sound justice, these units did have a great sound, the economy and home theater in a box has killed these units off, i have heard these units, they rock!!!!!
Why can´t you buy this kind of equipment nowadays? Do people just want to play with their computers and smart phones?

I ask the same question all of the time. I've recently gotten back into the home audio and as I looked around the internet I was just asking where are the good sound systems and components anymore.
.....this is my question too,..these are beautifully done units,..really missed them. The stuff we have today is so boring,..
You can but are very expensive, i haved a fisher in 80's and are good but now i have a rotel and is better than the Fisher in every way. I get the rotel used for cheap i hook up a pair of onkyo speakers and one powered MK sound sub and believe me that is a great pleasure to listen great tunes on it. There are plenty of very good stuff but i repeat that is matter of money, by example Krell, Nad, Onkyo, Yamaha, Bryston, Marantz, Harman Kardon, mcintosh and others combined with other pieces of hardware does very good job.

Twin Drive system consists of two big magnets in the front and rear sides of the woofer. In spite of the fact this is a phase inverter speaker with a very deep bass, the Twin Drive system makes it's bass very fast as if it was a Closed Cabinet.

Да, что верно то верно. Современная техника что то страдает качеством у нас. Да любую технику можно предварительно проверить: поставить компакт диск и нажать на воспроизведение, потом на паузу и в этом положении вывернуть ручку громкости до упора, так вот, весь шум который скорее всего вы услышите в колонке быть не должен. Если есть шум, то техника говно, т.к. никаких шумов быть не должно! Главное потом не забыть вернуть ручку громкости в нормальное положение, иначе можно спалить технику, после постановки в режим воспроизведения!

Super!Раньше делали вещи ,а теперь голимые бумбоксы с громким именем английского или еще какого - нибудь бренда, с пластмассовым звуком ,и все ,как правило собирается в Китае.Сейчас аппаратура на 80%-не о чем.
Смотрите в сторону Dali, Dynaudio, Sound Sound, все на своих заводах и звук живой ;)
AegisGT Dali хоть Lektor,Icon,Mentor,хоть Epicon, хоть какую серию этой акустики не возьми-ситетический хлам! Dynaudio тоже не восхищает ,раньше был звук ,сейчас на что опираются на чем основываются производители ...не знаю.Наверное дизайн и цена.
Славик Кабахидзе Вы забыли добавить, что это Ваше мнения и Ваш вкус, возможно даже абсолютно второсортный! На чем Вы их слушали, в связке с чем, никто не знает. Зато все поняли, что новодел и Дали с Дюнаудио говно!
