My dad spent a little over two years in the middle of nowhere in new mexico. He had some stories that would fit in here--seeing multiple ghost cars, an abandoned house he passed pretty often, which he looked around in once and saw a levitating table, plus encounters with a "burrower". He wasn't too clear on what it was, but it sounded like a cryptid to me. I wish he was still here to share the stories again to y'all.

I’m so sorry for your loss, but what you wrote reminds me of my childhood and all of my dads creepy stories. We had family in East Texas and he had stories for every trip, from the ghosts of the Piney woods, to Sasquatch and the haints of the family cemetery. Bigfoot is legendary in East Tx and haints maybe a family thing because they are not just evil spirits they are evil spirits that reside in the local wild black panthers. Black panthers are another legend from north Texas to east Texas, they are real though because they have been spotted by many people. The legend is they escaped from some zoo or traveling circus, bred and flourished. Anyway thank you for your post because my dad is still here so I can get him to retell these wonderful creepy tales 🙏.

I am a woman, I can honestly say that dolls "creep me out!" I was such a tomboy as a child that I never really played with dolls.
Why? Probably due to the Twilight Zone. They had a short story about a possessed doll... it was called " talking Tina." It was scary as heck!

Hi Timber 👋 definitely not mine! Lol 😆 I like scary movies but for some reason that one scared me. I think its because I was just a little girl around 7 maybe 8?
I had dolls in my early years purely because I sucked my thumb and they went hand-in-hand for me. I did have the occasional dream where my doll came to life and was super messed up though, so that was scary.
My grandma used to give me porcelain dolls which I had to hide because they majorly creeped me out.

I had one of those Gilbert Atomic Energy Labs when I was a kid. That is how ancient I am. It contained a small chip of uranium ore. Not particularly dangerous unless you are it. I also had my share of those glow in the dark radium watches. I ownwr several over the years. Still got a few of them laying around.
@@WitchidWitchid the radium watches weren't really that bad either, it was mainly the people painting the hands that had issues and that was because they commonly licked the paintbrushes. Wish I could get ahold of some radium paint. I need some stuff to glow in the dark without charge that would never be close enough to harm a person.

I always wonder what would happen if Bear Grylls encountered cryptid monsters in the wilderness.
Probably try and kill them and eat them for dinner perhaps. Or maybe it would be the other way around.
Survivirman has a whole seties avout Bigfoot. He is more credible than Bear Grylls, imo. He has a TH-cam channel with his old shows, some of them narrated.

Ha! So, I'm descended from the Kestner family of Waltershausen, Germany, who made some of most sought-after of creepy dolls back around the turn of the last century. If you ever want to see the creepiest of creepy old dolls, just look up "Kestner antique dolls"! You're welcome.😁

@@silentopinion , Well, if you noticed, there are ones available that are incomplete or missing their outfit, and that usually means they're much less expensive. But, those ones are also the creepiest of all! My grandma had one in the basement when I was a kid, and I remember it being one of the most bone-chilling things I'd ever seen. There was definitely some dark energy attached to it, if only of my own making!😁

The most unbelievable part about the story is that the police has a patrol car to spare for an entire week... What I know of cops even makes me doubt that they would investigate the case to begin with. They might make a short report and confiscate the game, but that's it. The arson would be more likely to cause an investigation.
The concept of a weirdo doing all these things is far more plausible. In my neighborhood, the sandbox had glass shards buried, the slide had razor blades attached and the ladder had used needles hidden. I never liked my neighbors, but whoever this was deserves a trip to prison shower...

The board game included what I am assuming would be a lethal dose of mercury content in it, as a lot of old toys would have. The police would have known a better way to dispose of it.
