I disagree. Were you shy towards strangers at that age? I was. Even if I've been around them long before they started talking to me. Even when anyone in my family was around, I'd feel very awkward when others came up to talk to me. Even if they spoke to me as if I was a lot older, I'd still feel awkward to speak long sentences.

During the 90s when we were being taught to look after or speak to young children we were asked to get down to their level and sit next to them. It was considered rude to sit high up from a child because it it was thought the child might think they weren't being heard. I literally grew up on Regis and Kathy Lee the interviewers and they were very popular at the time.
They don't let them finish answering one question before they're on to the next one. Then there's the weird silences. What an awkward and rushed interview!

I don’t agree that the problem was entirely with the presenters. Even when asked normal questions the girls have short answers. It’s kind of impossible to conduct a proper interview when the twins hardly say a word. That’s not to say I blame the kids. It’s just the way they were.

Their behavior is completely normal people. Just imagine a 4 y old kid being asked many questions from two complete strangers sitting face to face with them plus a lot of people all around them watching, and some cameras all around the room. Every other kid would be shy and confused as well....
They act almost exactly the same now.... and not trying to be hateful. It’s just sad they really didn’t even get to have a normal child hood... everyone all in their face like their a zoo animal.. and imagine how many over this happened. Couldn’t even imagine .
