Look on eBay that have repros for no that much.
The Smokinggun problem is you have to apply to SBR it before you buy the stock, which sucks
TwinSpinner so you can have an original one and it counts as C&r. You have a repro stock and it counts as SBR that makes no sense.
The Smokinggun oh I didn't think of that but yeah if you c&r the gun that's one thing, I don't know how sbr laws apply to c&r
You can pick up an original stock for around 50 dollars

I'm glad you guys make videos about guns and actually shoot guns. I don't know what the beef is with YankeeMarshall but I went to go watch some of his videos and it's just a lot of bitching and moaning. I'm still waiting for a nice C96 reproduction. Sure its design wasn't reused for a reason, but it's still a gun I think looks good and can be made better with our modern technology. Besides, how else am I gonna feel like Booker Dewitt? ;)

Red 9 with the stock and a Broken Butterfly. All you really need for most of the game.

@@leroysinclair8499 yeahhh, no, the red9 basically maximizes the power of 9mm rounds , in 50 rounds you get about 325 damage, , just 175 shy of 10 magnum rounds (maxed out broken butterfly) basically in 8 9mm bullets you get one maxed out broken butterfly shot.

Good video. One of the few that I've found where the Astra is fired as well. I've always been very found of the Broomhandle. I'm 50 years old and I've been a fan of the pistol since I was a kid back in the seventies. I'm especially a fan of the 'Bolo' configuration which I finally purchased one a couple years ago. Again a very good video.
I really enjoy seeing the old firearms that still are usable over a hundred years latter.

AUTOMATIC of Ukraine started making a reproduction Mauser Broomhandle carbine a couple of years ago. Who knows, some of them might have been drafted into service against the Russians!
I’ve held one before, it was made in 1918, and it was pretty front heavy. Also the rear sight jostles around which was something I didn’t expect.
I love my broomhandle, mine's a Model 1930 commercial C96 with a shoulder stock made in the 50's. It's just a shame that the barrel is pretty worn down at this point, so the thing isn't very accurate, but it's still in good working condition, so I still take it to the range just a few times a year.
There is a company that relines the barrel. It is not detectable from the outside and restores it to a real shooter.

Awesome. Those are so cool. I guess the ammo is expensive and hard to find. It seems that, in combat, that clip feeding thing could get you killed. As to the Star Wars thing, even as a kid in the 1970s, when Star Wars hit theaters, I noticed that Harrison Ford's gun was a Broomhandle Mauser and the similarities (especially in uniforms) of the Empire to the SS and Whermacht. A really cool thing. Can you do some more oldies, like 8mm French revolver, Colt .38 Auto (pre-dates .38 Super), those giant WW1 Mauser anti tank bolt action rifles, Bren Gun, Luger P 09 Artillery Model with snail drum mag, the Lancaster SMG (50 round mag Brit SMG of WW2), I could go on and on, I like oldie military weapons.

If the clip will not feed into the mag properly, 1st. just flip the clip and try the other end. For my 1930 C96 his works about 75% of the time.
Lewis guns were also used for blasters in Star Wars! The aesthetics of old guns are the best!

What do ya think of a video on a Spanish Mauser in .308? Or something on new cartridges; .224 Valkyrie, .277 wolverine, 6.5 creed more, etc. Or the new ruger mpr, or m&p 10 sport?
Luger was 1900 not 1908 and based on the C93 Borchardt, a (surprise) 1893 design. The Luger was adopted by Germany in 1908, that's probably where that mistake came from. Also, the Sterling was British.

I've got a Chinese copy with the 10 and 20 round detachable magazines in 9mm. Operates great... just wish I could get extra magazines cheap & easily.
I just had a beautiful idea for you. Make up some Peter powder, and show us how it shoots in a flintlock.
The round may have been a hot round. But another bottleneck round - hot also, is the 7.62x25 tokarev.

Having shot a few of these old stocked pistols (not a broomhandle) I know they are not quite as capable as you'd want to believe from just looking at them but I would still like to see how far they could be pushed in the hands of some pretty good shooters like you and Chad.

Mauser 712 Schnellfeuer. It used 10 & 20 round box mags because it was/is full auto.

I still use it for self defence and have kept many assassins at bay by showing it in dangerous situations in India nowadays gun culture is riding supreme and illegal pistol making has become a cottage industry in eastern states of up,Bihar and Bengal and I have seen criminals running away by the sight of this old pistol it is so fearsome that I had no need to shoot anybody I am a peaceful person and this device has And Is serving me well
