Great video and I love your content. But I kind of think you're using the wrong word for what you mean. The words geared, better-suited, perfect, would be better than rigged. The word "rigged" makes it sound like the stock market is controlled or manipulated (I know it kinda is). Which would be illegal. It makes more sense as: "The stock market is 'geared' for the patient investor". Or the Stock market is 'better suited' for the patient investor. Just my 2 cents. Love the channel.

It is slightly rigged but in a good way for us regular joe schmoe investors. Massive quantitative easing by the government, look at the amount of money the Fed is pumping into the stock and bond market. BUT that doesn't mean you can't jump in and go along for the ride. I don't know if a 08 type of crash will happen again any time soon due to the way the government artificially props up the market.

Index funds are the filter that make this possible. So invest early, invest consistantly and you will gain wealth.

It’s not rigged, but it does reflect monetary policy and human irrationality at times.

I love you guys so much but I hate how you misuse "beg the question." What you actually mean is "provoke the question." To "beg the question" is to assume that which you are intending to prove. It is a logical fallacy.
Just because a lot of people these days use it to mean "provoke the question" doesn't mean they're using it correctly.

Starting and buying businesses (Figured you would mention Uncle Warren next) is different than investing - completely different risk and return profile 👍

Both investments are good to go into but if profits must be considered then cryptocurrency is far better

@@kirkwilson4485 Past performance isn't a guarantee of future performance. Cryptocurrencies don't actually produce anything, so you're just hoping somebody else will be willing to pay more for it than you paid. There's a difference between that and investing in companies that actually make products and earn money.

The whole point of what they're saying is that you don't need to worry about it - just put money into an index fund every week until you retire and you will easily be rich.
