@@NotTripp Honestly Fire rework on release was better but they dogged on it, Z dash is too long to land on anybody and you have to rotate it accurately from where you started and it might still miss regardless or be blocked. X hitbox is too inconsistent and the endlag has so bad of a timing that if you tap F simply whenever you can after being hit, it parries almost anything ingame to combo extend. C is the best move out of 3 still but it's not allat, doesn't stun long enough the hitbox is decent and all but it's just flat damage at that point.

The Z isn’t so bad but it’s kinda inconsistent to land it constantly, the C is pretty good not bad, the hitbox for C is really good. My least used moved is X cause of how unreliable it can be, even when landing it.

Some people think medic is op. Medic on its own isn’t strong it’s the shikai the volt or Rez that’s makes it strong most people don’t know how to fight medic either. At some point the people that use medic have played on it so much they know how to use it fully and are demons with it and then people say it’s not fair.
When you acquire sbs or hogs And get BANKAI in the old type soul It actually felt like an achievement but literally everyone in the new type soul has these. Back then I couldn’t fight a single true but now EVERYONE IS WALKING AROUND WITH TRUE
The new type soul is better in almost every single way except bankai prog. It should’ve remained the same or reduced to like 100 or 75 raids. Nothing can describe how terrifying bankai/full res/vollstandig was in old type soul and I want that feeling back.

Tbh, one thing I mainly dislike is how they “balance” things, they release completely busted shit then gut it to the point it’s worse than a damn common. And they also just choose to nerf the weirdest things, like the dagger swing speed because they say it’s “slightly lowered” but it feels to be about the same speed as basically any other weapon, I understand that yeah it kinda needed a nerf as it was pretty hard to parry but the thing is it’s a dagger that’s it’s entire purpose, so a nerf could’ve been a nerf to the damage so it’s weaker than the other weapons buts it also faster.
Gotta remember how op essences were like scream essence and destruction essence both had true combos that did 4 bars 😂😂😂 and how also back in the day 8 hogyokus were worth one skillbox

The problem is not how rare something is but how functional is, light beng abuse is bound to happen regardless how good it is just because is BUSTED and extremely hard to counter play, to have build variety is to have different ways to approach the gameplay, long range like a mage? Cool go kido, want some hands? Cool hakura, want to close distance with keep melee combos? Go speed (none of this applies to type souls since the game is just whoever spamm the most bullshit wins is just an example) so no matter how rare something is but how effective is, so rarity doesn't matter at all when there's such massive difference in skill damage and how effective they are, as to how easy it is to get bankai, it doesn't matter much, even if you make 1 stage easy as hell the others still tedious, let's not confuse tediousness with difficulty or time wasting bullshit, plus, most player don't have bankai even thou is quite easy to obtain now days (cuz still annoying as fuck to get) as for balance, no matter how much they balanced it, the core gameplay is extremely broken, parry ain't shit, move stacking is absurd and the combat is a bit too fast pace, like I said, whoever spamm the most BS wins, hence why hakuda and speed were so dominant

Both are shit in their own way, old Type Soul was gatekeeping all the cool stuff behind the paywall and the new one simply ain't that good. Like legit, every aspect of it is mediocre. Pvp - trash, parrying - mid, skill trees - mid, variability - mid (almost no different builds, it's either pure speed, kido or hakuda no matter the race), medic skill tree has been forgotten for a little while now, has its own place at the pyramid of trash where it places its own ass to collect dust for eternity. Skills - mid, progression - mid, ranked - mid, pve - mid. And don't get me started on the bugs. The Freaky Bawa still haunts me to this day and 90% of yall wouldn't be able to beat it otherwise. In conclusion, type Shoul should be called type Bug or Type Mid, legit the devs need to rework its parrying system, add more DIFFERENT skills and buff other skill trees.
