It is nice to see a well made house by someone who takes the time to research how the people might live in that house. I love the bits of history and architectural facts you provide and have learned quite a bit! I would love to see your take on a brick/stone home (Victorian, Colonial, whatever) that is the home of world travellers. I was just looking at styles and there is one called Richardsonian Romanesque: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richardsonian_Romanesque - very interesting. Maybe a home built around the 1900s for a family who were able to travel extensively and bring back selections from their various excursions around the world. It would fit with the high clutter factor and could even be a more modern set of travellers living in a period home.
Thank you! I love that idea, and the Victorians were pretty eclectic decorators so I can see that being fairly realistic too! And I have been dying to do a Richardsonian Romanesque house, they're so gorgeous and not very common but I'm not sure I could do it justice in game!!
just find this channel by the Downton Abbey vid, because i am constantly looking Downton Abbey and the sims lol, but the point is that i am so amazed by this channel i mean HISTORY LESSONS, ARCHITECTURE LESSONS ANDD A SIMS BUILD? WHAT MORE CAN I ASK FOR love it so much i hope this great channel get the recognition it deserves
Wow, thank you so much, that's so sweet! I'm really happy that there are others also into the nerdy intersection of history, architecture, and the sims lol
Just found your channel here. Love your style and historical information! How about a build that features a large estate that contains rooms from the Titanic. I'd love to see someone focus more on the interiors like a couple first class suites, an attempt at the grand stair case, first class smoking room, Cafe Parisien, a la carte restaurant, ect. without trying to recreate an actual ocean liner frame. Will likely love anything that you choose to do though! Keep up the amazing content! Subscribed :)
