Orunmiyan is not the first relationship between the Benin and the ile-ife...Izoduwa(Oduduwa) is an exile prince of the last ogizo kingdom(Benin) that wander to pile-ife and become their first king

Where did you read this 21st century history? The history of the yorubas is well documented and all these orruotion has no facts behind them. Do you kmow that oduduwa was not the 1st Ooni of ife. He was born in ife. Ife is also one of the oldest cities in Africa. All researches and scientific findings proves that ife has been in existence before benin. When did the name benin come into existence? A world renowned philosopher who lives 500 years BC named herodotus wrote about ife in his books. Please we all need to read and research rather than listening to fairy tales.

About ur story on Olofin, he was a hunter and not from the royal family in ile-ife, there was no way he would have been given a crown from the king of ile-ife, and the awori people never spoke same language with ile-ife.....There's still controversy about their origin or where they are from...plss get some facts before dishing out information especially when it comes to very important matters like the HISTORY...

We Benins know the Aworis are From Benin, although they speak dialect of Benin mixed with Oyo Yoruba.
Aworis are groups of people that follow Ododuwa/Ekalanderan to IIe Ife after he was banished from Igodomigodo/Benin.
Aworis tribes and Ododuwa history are two stories Yorubas refused to agree with Benin narrative.
