Quite the job. I took the hitch off my 1500 to do the rear tire and service the final drive and it was pretty simple with the old design. Trade off is your rear tire is simple to get off and mine takes half the bike apart. Fortunately you shouldn't have to mess with the hitch again.

I gotta tell you, that trailer hitch install seems to be above my pay grade 😅
I’m better at electrical stuff. I’ll get a “professional” to do mine when I’m ready. Just the same, thanks for sharing!

Make sure you periodically check your frame welds after pulling trailer.
