Well done Gbolahan for communicating with the Guy in Yoruba language, it is a welcome development do it often because not everybody can express them-self better in English Lang
...and limit his international audience in the process. Is Yoruba our official language or lingua franca? That is a myopic suggestion and thinking. English language will help his content gain wider audience.
@@ugowilliams8437don’t worry about his audience. Your people never liked the road in the first place. Whether you like it or not, Yoruba is the dominant language in Nigeria. You are not the target audience so move away.
When is Ondo state section starting because they said this year. I need to buy at least 1 acre around my area in Okitipupa. Wish the Ondo state government can expanding the roads Akure - Ore - Okitipupa - Araromi to at least 6 lanes to make more journeys fast and easy. Akure to Araromi should only be max of 2 hours instead of the current 4+ journey
When you buy land is when it is announced, prices will have increased significantly when they started working on the section I bought a land back in 2015 around Ibeju lekki , I made sure the land doesn’t encroach to the gazetted alignment, few months later in 2016, ambode drove through that area and talk about the Lagos calabar road, bought the land an acre for 700k per plots, that land is now worth N20M per plots
@@Silver-l5xWhichever way, the sand is being imported to the location. But actual thing they're doing from the video is that they are dredging the sand from a nearby river.
The sand is being sourced from a remote region or place yet to be inhabited, and 8/10 activities surrounding sand mining would have distorted the ecological system of that particular area, but we have no choice as humans
They needs to have rest areas for SEMI trucks and car's and lorry's with River ports for passengers with ShopRite with modern market and security apparatuses with hotels with massive investment in Fuel stations and mechanics workshop and estates for residential purposes and other activities
Thank you for the update. I have a few questions. Does this section deviate from the route? I ask because there is no view of the coast. Secondly, do you think it will be 10 lanes, 5 on each side? Away from the questions, I expect this road will lead to development in terms of real estate, industries etc. I do hope that it also leads to increase in commercial farms along the axis because I know that real estate captains will be quick to snatch up the land, I am hoping someone is thinking of commercial Agriculture. Farm goods can be brought from farming estates to the road or the railway in the middle whenever both/either are completed.
The route hasn't deviated, not all sections of the highway will be beachfront. Currently, sand filling is underway, so I can't confirm the number of lanes yet. Interestingly, the project is already boosting real estate demand in the area. On a related note, I hope the increased accessibility will encourage more people to explore agricultural opportunities along the corridor.
@@Iamgbolahan Thank you Mr Gbolahan for your response. Now I know not the entire route will have an ocean view. Yeah I can imagine folk are buying land, I hope it is all being done above board so there are no issues with legality and government demolishing property after. I hope everyone buying land is doing their due diligence and ensuring they are complying with government's requirements.
It is wiser to buy land in Araromi, ondo state compared to any land around the coastal part of Lagos, but if you fail to do so before the contruction get to Ondo, then you are on your own as the price of the land will sky rocket

Will he be the best president by building a ₦15 trillion coastal highway while the citizens are dying of hunger? Why not use that money to cultivate food massively to feed the people, make the foods cheap and affordable, and export the rest to earn huge foreign exchange? This road is not our priority at the moment. Imagine if half of the capital for this project was invested in agriculture and electricity provision (power), how far it will go to improve the lives and welfare of the citizens?
How is secured this highway will be before & after completion?. Due to kidnappings, armed robberies, etc. I do hope that the authorities would factor in all these.
