I have always admired the XLR's looks and thought that Cadillac should have kept evolving it to an even higher level of performance and refinement. I think a car you and your wife would both really enjoy in the super performance GT category is the Jaguar XKR. I've owned my 5.0L 600hp 2010 XKR for 10 years and yesterday it passed 200,000 miles. It is the quickest, best, and most reliable car I have ever owned, has been tracked dozens of times and is still my daily driver and a pleasure to look at and drive everyday. And by the way, it certainly gives my Pantera a run for its money. One of these months I'm going to make it to one of your Cars and Coffee events and you can take it for a spin. Unfortunately, since Covid, prices have increased significantly but still a great car for the money. Glad that you're doing well.
Great video! Very informative. I’m considering buying an 06 XLR with 40k miles. I’ve got a great mechanic but am very nervous about parts being hard to find and really expensive when maintenance is needed due to limited vehicle production run. What are your thoughts? Is this a dealbreaker?
Well it wasn't for me but that does concern me. Just spent 600 bucks plus shipping to get a tailight fixed but it's better than 1500 for a used replacement. They are fun cars and definitely have a unique look. I think you'll enjoy it if you end up buying
There is so much to making that top work I dread when mine stops. I don't much care to put it down but my wife loves it. Hope you can find someone who knows how they work and it's a simple fix
