Met him after a show. The most humble man you will ever meet. Amazing talent. Shame he does not tour anymore. But has put his family first. God Bless him.
He seems very humble he seems to be one of those people if you spent a short time around him you'd see your life completely different for the better. Never got the chance to see him live which is a massive shame.
Me and my father did his roof at his house few years ago, he’s just as brilliant and funny at home as on tour, the most enjoyable days work I’ve ever done👍🏻
Greatest of all time, my comedy hero, notice how most comedians these days come out with their one hour specials, never Lee, he led the way for years and still can't be touched, no one comes close
There are so many stand up comedians in the UK that are top of there games, and hilarious, but Lee Even, for me, will always be in a league of his own. The greatest stand up performer in the UK. There wont be anyone like him again and I am so glad I got to see him before he retired.
Remember seeing Lee in his early days doing stand-up at Jongleurs in Clapham, London. Talent on steroids. I have never felt so exhausted with laughing by the end of it, and wished I had just a quarter of his energy levels. So glad he went out on a high. Hope I am fortunate enough to bump into him one day to express my admiration personally.
WOW..... what a finale. As much as I love his comedy (new to his stuff honestly) - That song at the end was the most BEAUTIFUL way to end his performance. Just WOW. Dude is a legend.
I remember being obsessed with Lee as a kid, and I've only just started rewatching his stuff after 2 or 3 years. I now completely understand why I was obsessed. The talent, the entertainment, the heart, the soul, the love and affection he shares with everyone. In the future, when I have a kid. I want to make sure they are raised watching Lee evans. Because he gave my childhood a lifetime of laughs.
Saw him in Nottingham, felt so lucky to see him in his final tour , wished I could have gone down and shook his hand but wheelchair seats were on a higher level. Enjoy your retirement you deserve as much joy and laughter as you have given us
Very emotional. What a talent and I find something so poignant about Lee - such a genuine bloke who has worked his socks off for us and his family. Wish I could see him. Love you, Lee.
He was always away working but did it all for his family and it was time for him to make them happy like he did his fans. It's understandable that he wants to step away from it now. Go well Lee. Your family needs you, of course we all miss you but if you want to come back. We'll be here!
Saw Lee when he was just starting out, and he just got better, but I knew he would, you can always tell when someone has something special. When I’m down and need cheering up, I’ll watch either Laurel & Hardy or Lee Evans, now that’s a special award. Well done sir.
Thank you Lee for everything I didn’t grow up with a dad and your tours made me get through it all wish I could be like you one day feeling the love from the crowd thank you goat ❤
Wow, just wow, Lee Evans you are absolutely incredible, you are so entertaining and that song at the end is so emotional. Spend time with your family making memories and I hope one day you will return, you will be greatly missed x
This man is the best, i was always too young to go see him whilst he was touring but i’ve watched every film religiously since 14. He was and will always be the best.
You made the people happy ! and will do for generations to come, that is the greatest gift one human being could ever give another, keep yer guard up jab an move. x
This was NOT the final of the Monsters tour, the final was 30th November 2014 in Caerdydd Cymru. He had announced his retirement on the previous Saturday night on the Jonathon Ross Show and stood there are the end, when the crowd settled after a rapturous round of applause, he whimpered, composed himself, nodded, said “Goodbye”, walked off and the spotlight shone on the Piano which he had draped in Y Ddraig Goch 🏴 Shame this isn’t the real ending, seeing Lee lost for words is better than any speech he could have made.
I hope he does a one off show some time. Just one. small club, unannounced. But filmed, so everyone can watch it later. Before he gave too much to the public and not enough to his family. I completely understand him withdrawing, he's one of the few public figures with a truly happy ending. His public aren't his family, but they do miss him. Just one night lad, one more before the final curtain. If you ever know it's going to drop.
😂😂😂😂😂 throughout this and brought back memories as a 1st gen muslim kid from morocco in the UK. Mum and dad strict with the whole kissing/sex scenes in the 90's because it was like 😵 watching it infront of family and arkward. like most old skool religious faithful infront of family. But with Lee it was always about touching borders but you thinking it's so true. What made me ❤ this one more was the finishing song for his wife. Been the brunt of some punchlines for years and we was expecting the same witty stuff. But it was just thank you for putting up with my sweaty big ears idiot self for so long 😂.. a true unsung hero British hero in comedy. Thank you for the many laughs you've given me. But most of all my dad who hardly laughed but did when you was on about marriage because even mum was laughing too.. you truly don't know what you mean to the British and migrants like my parents. people and comedy person ❤ and hopefully we see you out there doing little bits

Funniest man ever when I was growing up, I liked him and Jim Carrey. Brilliant for kids
So hilarious! 😂😂😂So many years have passed and it's still so hilarious!
A good comedian and a darned good singer. That's entertainment

The reason he stopped touring is really heartwarming actually, he wanted to spend more time with his wife
Thank you Lee for everything I didn’t grow up with a dad and your tours made me get through it all wish I could be like you one day feeling the love from the crowd thank you goat ❤

Anyone else think the guy in the audience at 1:28 looks a hell of alot like Kevin Bridges 🤣

If you believe in GOD,you are looking at him.
My god what the fxxk he can sing
🤮
Is that the real life with his wife?? Feel sorry for Lee
I left the mother of my children,I wish now I hadn’t ,she met a bastard and she is now dead.🇮🇪🏴
For sure his wife is like that
That god he's giving up he's runnish
Just like your spelling.
he just sweats and pulls rubbery faces ?
needs to sort that sweating out, terrible
It's how he is and shows what energy he's putting into his comedic performance.
Oh, how dare he display a bodily function that you disapprove of 😑
😂😂😂
Talented by so much this man shows what is possible .
