Putting it out there. Giving men travelling at more than 40kmh only 15 to 20m to stop ala indoors without crash mats is absolute insanity.

Good win for Seville! The novice comments saying he "should have been better "or "winning easily against these guys" is silly. Seville is actually better at the moment than he was at this point last year! He started the 2022 recovering from a foot issue. He didn't run sub 10 until the end of May/early June and every race thereafter was a sub 10! He already ran 9.95 last month and dropped a 9.99 here. Seville is just fine. I hope he stays healthy. Good to see Terrence Laird back on track as well. 🙏🏾

Good to see sensible track fans are still around, these new people have become so consumed by seeing super fast times they end up missing the beauty of the sport and the build up

@Aaya 26 so true, I remember around this time last year oblique wasn't on anybody's radar, he's doing better than he was at this point last year, he just has to make sure he listens to coach mills and doesn't over do it , I'm hoping him as well as the other athletes stay healthy and consistent and don't feed into the next Usain bolt narrative

Man i'm just thrilled Laird ran.
I'll admit, I thought i was being punked when the announcer called his name. Like someone was playing with my headset, I didn't believe it.
Don't know why, but seeing him run put a huge smile on my face - it's like the dude is free again.
...and he ran really freaking well. He must have been training his butt off.

They need more distance between the finish line and the padding to decrease the impact of the collision on padding & thicker padding. That was terrible some1 could get hurt....smdh

Doesn't seemed he got the best of starts. In the end he beats a quality field running into a -0.2 headwind. You couldn't ask for more, given this his 3rd race of the season. Well done Seville.
