It seemed like you put more than an inch of dirt over the pan. Isn’t that too much?

I try and stay in the 3/8 to 1/2 inch range. If I apply more it isn't intentional

When do you find their fur starts to go done hill? Is it more time of year or temperature?

Early rubbing around December 15th. Best fur ironically is December 6-10
