I bought one already with Hero 3.0 but couldn't get the mesh I wanted which was vortex mesh

Absolutely my favorite head, but unfortunately it didn't hold up. Customer service was awesome dealing with it!Maybe this head in graphene? What would that weight be? ECD for life!
Ive always used 3 shooters since i was 13 can we add shooters when we buy heads from your website because on your website only shoes one shooting string?
We find this to be a more universal pocket with the one shooter for people to pick up and play with. There is nothing wrong with 3 shooters but its not for the majority of players

What's the difference other than the material between the ion and mirage 2
The Diamond plastic is something that is never and improved where other plastics are Nylon based plastics.
I think I’m going to get a grapheme mirage because I wanted this but play 2 way mid and don’t want it to break
The graphene might be the better option for a 2 way player
Greg, how would you compare the Ion to the Mirage 2.0 Graphene? Both are for offensive players but would one suit a specific style of play? Which plastic is stronger?
The Graphene is probably a little more durable but they are so different you can't compare the two. It all depends on the face shape you like. For a tighter face shape the ion would be the way to go.

Probably not the best choice. This is really for attack and O mid. I would check out the Mirage 2.0 and the DNA
You said it was tighter at the top of the head, but what is the actual measurement for it? 6 inches? I know most heads measure anywhere from 6-6.5. Just want to clarify

what’s the best color design you would use for GT? i committed a couple months ago and my mirage 2 has royal blue and black strings
Just picked one up. Messing around with the sidewall pattern. Debating on throwing some leathers in it. Wish I watched this video before buying definitely a concern if recommended not using for defense

Do the screws come with the custom heads
Depending on the color that you select. The Ion screws are only in the silver, blue and black colors
What good shaft color would look good with the ion
Depends on which color ION but I love black shaft clear ION
is there a complete stick version like with the rebel offense and mirage
Yes, you can do that on our customizer or if you go to Dicks sporting goods they have a complete stick option ready to go

They both shoot great, but the heads is not going to make it do that. Your pocket is going to be the x factor there

If it doesn't fit you can't force it. You may just need a different shaft

Plastics, and face shape. The Ion is better for a lower pocket

We do not recommend using this for any Defensive positions.
I would buy a custom but when I got my custom rebel d it came with I huge channel and the same issue with my friends rebel O so I learned how to string
So you guys want more of a bag and less channel?
@@ECD I personally like a tight channel and my stick throws good but I feel that sometimes on ground balls I know I have it but it pops right out.
Same dye process as a normal head? Don’t wanna melt the head or anything like that
I’m having trouble dying mine
We don't really recommend dyeing them but it can be done. With the plastic being so unique it takes a long time for any dye to absorb into it.

You can! Only certain colors take though

Just an idea but you guys should start to put head measurements and weights on your website
We don't want people to get caught up in specific numbers as there is so much more to a head then "blank" oz. I will pass this along to our team and see what they think about this idea. But we are always open to giving the number out in our inside the product videos.
How does it dye?
Some colors are better then others. Red, Purple and orange

I've seen the aerodynamics mentioned, but how much of a factor does that play into shot speed? I wouldn't think that it would be much of a difference, but can you speak about that more? I can't imagine that I'm the only one maybe not quite understanding all the factors here. But maybe I am the only one... 😉

Great question, we really focused on the geometry of the rails on this head to focus create less drag as you come through with shots or passing the ball as the top rails are more rounded helping with drag coefficient.
@@ECD Are the aerodynamic forces really that great for a lacrosse head? I guess I never really thought about it that much, since the frontal surface of a head isn't all that great, even with the mesh. The geek in me would love to see that aerodynamic testing, and even some numbers around it being the fastest head to date.
now my diamond head isnt so special anymore :( hahaha jokes aside, excited to get the Ion head in my hands!!
