  • US Denies Zimbabwe's Claims on Militarising Zambia, Harare Turns to Russia |- Have you ever wondered how global geopolitics can shape the destiny of nations? Imagine a region where historical alliances fray, accusations fly, and superpowers vie for influence. Welcome to Southern Africa, where the rift between Zimbabwe and Zambia is not just widening-it's becoming a stage for a high-stakes geopolitical battle.
In recent months, whispers of a military base have echoed through the corridors of power in Harare and beyond. Zimbabwe, a nation grappling with internal strife and international scrutiny, has pointed a finger westward. They allege the United States is orchestrating a strategic move: establishing a military foothold in neighboring Zambia. But is this claim rooted in fact, or is it a strategic gambit in a broader power play?
At the heart of this unfolding drama lies a tale of two nations once bound by solidarity in the fight for independence. Zimbabwe and Zambia, once staunch allies, now find themselves at odds over political allegiances and accusations of foreign interference. Zimbabwe's President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has raised alarms over what he perceives as Western attempts to isolate his nation while bolstering Zambia.
Historically, Zimbabwe and Zambia's relationship was forged in the crucible of liberation struggles. Yet, recent shifts in Zambia's political landscape under President Hakainde Hichilema have strained these ties. Hichilema's close ties with Zimbabwe's opposition leader, Nelson Chamisa, have added fuel to the diplomatic fire, leading to a deterioration in relations once marked by shared history and mutual support.

Africa has most natural resources than any continent in the world and doesn’t need any other continent telling them what to do. Europe and USA are crumbling and shouldn’t be dictating anyone

I think the problem with Zimbabwe is its own politics and has nothing to do with Zambia

I think he's right. People just can't accept it. Of course, Zambia is going to deny it.

America should step aside from African affairs completely. No meddling.

If they didn't want you to find it, would you know where it is? Where are all the bases/labs in Ukraine?
